Smokin Pete's Burger Stop

Officially my favourite burger place anywhere in barrie and surrounding areas! Affordable prices and unbelievably great food! Perfectly crisp fries that are still crispy even when smothered in gravy and pulled pork. Mouth water burgers made without any holding back on the toppings. The chicken burger is so filling and of course delicious! I am even wondering if they bake their own buns for the burgers... Just everything about this experience was great!

Had to take care of some business on Bayfield Street and came across this joint. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. The inside had a quaint, classic burger shop feel. You can instantly smell the fresh ground beef on the grill when you walk in. I went with the basic Cheeseburger, fries and drink combo. The fries were so crispy and perfect. Fluffy and soft on the inside and crisp on the out. The burger although a bit pink in the middle which I'm not a fan of I really enjoyed the fresh ingredients and butter basted bun. I'll definitely go back again.

We were traveling through and were looking for a locally owned food place. We settled on Smokin Pete's and thoroughly enjoyed our supper. We ordered the Great Canadian burger and it was delicious in every regard. The ingredients were fresh and generous. We also ordered a large fries which were enough for two of us and they were crisp and hot, just the way I like them. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We certainly would recommend them and would gladly return if we ever get back to Barrie.

Well ! I saw that this burger place opened got a menu and went home with it, after a few weeks my wife and I decided to try one of there burgers. All I can say is that was months ago and we have been back so many times. We have tried many of the menu items and not once have we been disappointed. Everything is done to perfection, they even go the extra mile and toast my wife's bun. Amazing staff, extremely friendly and helpful. We absolutely love the food, price and quality. We highly recommend this place.

Best burgers in fries in town, so clean and so friendly. Go give them a try. Thank you for the perfect burger every time. So just discovered their onion rings ate the BEST IN BARRIE. The owner makes shortbread cookies and empire cookies from scratch that she sells in the store.....oh my goodness are they good. Thank you for another great experience.

I tried their crispy chicken, which I devoured very quickly and forgot to take a picture, now I’m back for the bacon cheeseburger, wow! Absolutely Delish!!! Thanks guys for the awesome food and friendly service , I want to try the whole menu !yum

My bacon cheeseburger was delicious. They use fresh, tasty toppings. The customer service is top notch; they really care about their customers. I shall return!

Some friends and I are travelling around, rating the local burger joints that are not franchises... Even though they opened about 18 months ago, Pete's is by far the best overall burger experience we have encountered. The bun holds all the juices perfectly, and the 5oz burger is just right. Plus, Wednesday is 10% off your order! Definitely worth the trip!

Im done with processed fast-food burgers. This place is the perfect replacement for cheat day. An actual home-made burger made with real meat and fresh crispy veggie toppings. Fun atmosphere with the music because they always seem to be playing what I like and the customer service couldn’t be better. I highly recommend.

Tried for the first time tonight ordering through Skip. OMG it was delicious! Price is worth what you get. Hubby had the Bacon cheeseburger and I had the steak sandwich. The steak was so tender and juicy and the burger was big and juicy with fresh toppings. Our first time and definitely NOT our last!
