Firehouse was my new favourite sub place. Signature subs are tasty. Went there today at lunch time I ordered 3x 12 inch subs. One of them was the steak and cheese. It come with steak, cheese, peppers and onions. I was told that they are were out of peppers and onions basically 1/2 the toppings. I asked if there was any small discount because of the missing items and just told NO. I understand there may be supply issues but some kind of acknowledgment would have been nice. Now they may lost a future customer

So loved this place, until my last order when I found that they went against food safety. I ordered 2 brownies and some subs. Went to eat my brownie and realized the discard by sticker had another sticker underneath it. The sticker underneath said discard by Jan 2, the sticker on top said prepared Jan 2. I am now second guessing the freshness and practices for the rest of the ingredients.

Nice and clean inside. Mostly used for take-out but you can dine in, it does however get quite busy due to it's popularity. People standing around waiting for their order etc. Food is excellent quality and portions are large and fulfilling. Staff is friendly. Nice assorted menu.

1st time eating here, WOW, both my wife and I both loved our subs. They sure aren't skimpy on the fixings. Delicious, great portions, fresh, we will be back.

The sub I had here was amazing. I had a medium New York Steamer and it was love at first bite! The cost is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. The staff was really friendly and accurare with our orders. We didn't have to wait long for our subs. We were given a number and they brought the food right to the table. They even followed up while we were eating to see how everything was. The place is very clean. We will definitely be going back

I’ve been to a few other franchise stores and they don’t cut it. The Barrie location is a winner every time. They don’t cut corners and just do it right A-Z. Considering I always come to that location from Toronto when heading north should say something. Favourites... Hook n Ladder, Meatball, Steak n Cheese and Brisket, enjoy

Great food, huge portions and the staff are overwhelmingly pleasant to deal with. We had someone assist us with every step in the process and really enjoyed our first trip here. The only complaint we had was some of the subs were very salty which took away the flavour of the sandwich. Would highly recommend the meatball sub which was prepared perfectly. If you have an opportunity too definitely try these guys out as they seem to have got a lot of things right.
