Visited for the first time on a recommendation and was very impressed!  Tried the Birria Tacos, Horchata, and an Oblea and they were all excellent. The Birria Tacos in particular were some of the best I've had in the city!  The location was clean and had nice decor but is otherwise a pretty small space and can get cold with the door opening and closing with customers coming in!  Will definitely be back again to try more of the menu.

Had the enchiladas and they were good, but quite watery and runny. The burger was also quite soggy. Taste wise, it was enjoyable, hit not for the price. There's better options out there for Mexican at that price point. Gave 3 because of the price to quality ratio.

Great little spot, menu was spot on and I found the cuisine very authentic. I find these types of establishments A LOT better than the overly hyped places. The place was busy, the food took a bit to come out of the kitchen but we did order quite a bit off the menu, all I will say is good job for the kitchen to keep up with the orders. Great establishment, I would definitely recommend and I will definitely come back.

First time at Smokin' Barrels was a pretty solid  experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful for menu suggestions. Ended up having the enchiladas verde, the birra tacos and mangonada slush. The flavour and portions were quite good but prices were a bit on the higher side compared to other places. Definitely a solid choice for great Mexican food.  Vegetarian options: Both vegetarian and vegan options

Stopped here for a late dinner and we were not disappointed. The place was hoppin, tables were almost all full but we got seats at the bar which was great. Food was really great, very flavourful and fresh. Will definitely keep this place on my radar for stopping by the next time we are around the area.Food: 5/5

Third time here, I’ve enjoyed every time!  I ordered the cake 3 leches for dessert for the second time, and realized I am a monster. This is how it looks after 30 seconds in front of me!  What have I done?!?!  Don’t judge me, it’s just too good!!!! Truly an amazing spot for fantastic food.  My wife lived in Mexico for a year, and said the food tastes authentic.

First time visiting,  Really Great Costumer Service. It was very busy but they did a fantastic job being organized, great team work!  The food was so delicious, especially the birria tacos! Had the yuca churros as well and I enjoyed it very much! I will definitely visit again!  Support local!

If you have not checked this place out, now is the time. Easily the best Mexican in the city. And the family that runs it are the icing on the cake, love the vibes. It's busyyyyyy, but worth it.Food: 5/5

We ordered the quesabirria pizza and the fried tilapia. Everything was delicious ! Best latin restaurant in Edmonton serving AUTHENTIC flavours. Definitely get your moneys worth, the portions are great. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Only comment is that there is very limited seating as its very small.

Great little place, food was delicious & cost for the size of plate is well worth it.  Service was friendly. Will definitely return.
