The high ranking and pictures are descriptive of how inviting the place looks. From a first timer, I can easily confirm that the place is lively, the food is on point, the menu is uncomplicated, and the team members are amazing! I got the fajitas tacos and loved it! I also request for super spicy salsa to go with the chips; Since that wasn’t a menu item, they mixed two and the result was phenomenal. If you have not been here, do consider going.

Wow wow wow!! This place is AMAZING. Their attention to every single detail makes this place extra special. Everywhere you turn is picture worthy. They have such a fun eye for decor and their service was outstanding. It's clear they take pride in their food, their service and their space. The margarita was perfect and the tacos were delicious!! We are looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend!

This place is great, it's very clean and the way it's laid out is pretty appealing. The decorations definitely add to the look. It just happened to be a Tuesday which they offer a deal on tacos so that was a bonus. The food was very flavorful, and being able to mix and match made it easy to try a lot. The Al pastor was actually my favorite, the pineapple was a nice touch and they used blue corn tortillas. Would definitely go back.

As a first-timer, I was looking for a yummy lunch spot downtown Edmonton before going into work and loved the decor and menu from Frida Urban Taqueria so I thought I'd give it a shot. I love their traditional Mexican street food menu while maintaining a lively and modern interior and the food hit the spot! I luckily walked in on Taco Tuesday and their 5 for $25 deal was great especially with the taco variety. The restaurant was clean and service was friendly, quick and efficient and I'd love to be back.

Wowza! Those were the words out of my mouth after trying the vegetarian taco! The chicken fajitas were equally as good.... Oh and the Sangria! Filled with fruit and so tasty. Good lighting, great photo ops, friendly servers, intimate atmosphere. I am so glad I found this place! Note: Parking is limited w/ the construction in the area so carpool if you can.

Food. Atmosphere. Amazing Service!! Jorge was absolutely wonderful and takes pride in his service My food hit the spot in a way a home cooked meal does and the hot sauce was drool worthy. It was worth the trip down! 25 stars

Stumbled upon Frida today and really enjoyed the food and service. It happened to be on taco Tuesday and the server let us know that their special was 5 tacos for $20. The tacos were delicious and the tortilla made in house was great! I also had the best horchata here. Will definitely return!

Although the food was good, it is quite pricey for the portion size. I'm confused with the 1.5 thin slices of lime, in addition to the single slice of radish, 2 slices of cucumber for 7 tacos. The guac and chips portion was also very small for $14. Unfortunately, I also think charging for every single thing like lime and sauces threw the experience off for me a bit due to the portions. However, I am cognizant the location may have played into the pricing. Otherwise, the atmosphere is pleasant and esthetically cute.

Great experience! Had 3 types of tacos Asada, Al pastor and suadero. Tacos were fantastic! Also ordered the molcajete and really enjoyed it as well. The server was a really nice guy who was super helpful and friendly! We will definitely be eating here again!

Such delicious, true Mexican flavours. YUM YUM we chanted with each bite! Our second visit was as good as we remembered our first. Friendly, warm and welcoming. Watch for Nate's paintings of Frida! Truly an artful place to experience! Highly recommended. If we lived in Edmonton we might visit weekly.
