Smoke n' Steam

After we walked to Smoke's Poutinierie. No one in there at like 8 pm on a Monday Night. I heard about the Butter Chicken Poutine so I really wanted to try it. I got the regular size and it was packed and the box was filled. The Butter Chicken Sauce was solid and I'm happy they put a ton of Green Onions and Sauce. The employees were super friendly and greeted you entering and leaving the place. Solid poutine place and I would love to try some of the other flavors they have.

I had my best poutine in canada. Perfect place of ottawa people to have great poutines and rocking atmosphere. Maintained perfect hygiene surrounding. Must try pulled pork and Avalanche for meat lover Recommended dishes

Good poutine but 3 Brothers on the same corner offers way better quality. I’d only really recommend this spot for a different style of poutine and if you’re use to Smoke’s menu. Overall solid spot but nothing special. Lastly, keep an eye out when coming late at night as the area is dim and precarious situations often happen on this block. Happy Eating!

Amazing Poutine shop! Menu has a huge selection of flavours and types of Poutine. The location is great it central. The staff is very friendly. The environment could be cleaner. Not a date spot but definitely a quick stop.

Had the bacon poutine. They use the real cheep paper thin bacon. The fries tasted ok but the gravy was terrible. No taste and had that cheep slimey texture. Sat by the window and the heat was was blowing down from above and was uncomfortable. I would not recommend eating the bacon poutine. Was a waste of money.Food: 1/5

I never ever leave reviews, but this order was just so bad i figured i would tell others to save their money and taste buds for another restaurant!! Absolutely horrible. Paid $40 for two large poutines with xtra curds.. can't imagine what it would've been like if i hadn't paid for those and a side of boneless wings $11 for 4 small pieces. If i had gone to a chip truck, I could've gotten a small portion for cheaper and the same size as their "large". Barely any cheese on there, and came cold too tasted like rubber. Partner ended up throwing up and not being able to finish his portion and neither did i. Smokes Poutinerie used to be good, now it's just a rip off - paid way too much for $1's worth of potatoes, half a bag of cheese and 4 nuggets. If i would've known it was that bad now, I would've spent my money more wisely and spared mine and my partner's tastebuds from this mess.
