I've been going here for 10+ years. The quiche alone is worth the trip from the cities. While you're there take some bread, cookies, or other yummy stuff home. I will say the coffee is not good. BUT! It becomes a non-factor once anything else they make registers on your taste buds.

Pros, pretty garden, people watching patio. Cons: Their motto appears to be, Food is food, quality means nothing. You will find them using the cheapest of everything, grsslands garbage butter last I saw. Standard lifeless white sugars. Crack rock sugar from an industry that uses all kinds of nasty processing. Gmo everything statistically speaking. Zerroooooooo sustainability policy. Nasty coffee. Nasty hormone interrupting styro cups. Everyone that works there looks like people usually do when they are picking at highly inflammatory foods all day, pale, red n patchy, gaunt or plump, and with that little bit of wryness about them that shows their bodies are suffering from an entire lifetime of maillard compounds which are carcinogens that are inherently formed in the process of cooking from the fats, proteins and carbs, as well as AGE's, or advanced glycation end-products which, as they are labeled, age you prematurely by apparently cleaving our telomeres, the longevity spirals on the tips of our chromosomes. But wait there's more, act now...or later and all grains come with enzyme inhibitors whether cooked, sprouted or otherwise...these are part of a broader category of antinutrients and the evidence for this, which is unarbitrary and zero gray area about it, lies in the field of epigenetics. Molecularly speaking, and on the cutting edge of all non-pseudo science, we can tell when a food is positive, neutral or negative there on the genome. Cooked foods massively violate natural law and that we misperceive that we must cook them is due to germ hysteria. The magic of food is not in the gross, physical molecules, it is in ths biophotons in each cell of it while alive, and in the structure of the water [masaru emoto], and in the microbiota inherent and integral to those foods, as well as the enzymes contained therein, which in spite of industry's best efforts to shove under the rug, very self evidently help in the breakdown of the foods once cut off from the life of the plant or animal. We have not been eating grains for very long and there is enough anecdotal evidence, combined with epigenetic evidence, combined with a trend where if you were to go to many bakeries in sequence one day, you would soon notice that the workers are all inordinately red, puffy, either gaunt or plump, and have a papery look about their skin, to reasonably say prima facie that there may be something very irritating to human biology in consuming grains on a regular basis. I was a bubble boy most of my life but it all went away when I dropped neolithic foods and moved onto foods that the elites have appropriated for themselves...untreated caviar, pasture raised meats in carpaccio, tartare, ceviche, sashimi, patês, and lots of green, low sugar raw veggie juices. However, I take a few steps back into this inflammatory world of barely-foods and I start sliding back into all that stuff that used to make my life barely worth living. I dont promote a paleo thing per se because I don't support the violation of this dimension's natural by cooking foods or adhering to illogical microbe hysteria, but most of the foods in the paleo repetoir are biologically appropriate for our set of genomic material. :) I am not doing this to disparaging this enterprise, however If I could take my 30 year old mind and put it in my 6month old body and freak my mom out by speaking articulately to her, I'd say, " Look homie, I love you, but you get that refined grain, sugar, dairy, or CAFO meat near me and Imma give you a purple nurple next milk break, and Don't you eat it either because your responsibility is to me your child and mammary exudate is directly composed of what the mom eats, so recognize, otherwise...jes kill meh now! Because the next 20 years are going to be an unnecessary living hell for me"
