Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Haven't had a meal here in quite a while but I did stop in a couple of weeks ago to pick up a lemon meringue pie that I used to love so much. When I cut into it I was disappointed, the meringue was hard an rubbery and the filling and crust had a weird texture. I think the pie had been frozen even though it says "freshly baked" right on the box. I certainly don't want to pay Perkins' price for a pie that I can get in the frozen food isle at Walmart!

Yummy as usual. But sometimes I think they are a little prejudice against blacks. I'm a great tipper and nice person . but for some reason every Perkins treats myself and my daughter as if were not there and it takes them forever to seat us and they ways sit us away from other guest. Even with the poor customer service I continue to tip Because my daughter and I believe its the right thing to do. And why go to management when they won't even look you in the eye when you're giving your complaint or concern. Anyway. They have the best pancakes in the business

Food was over cooked and service was slow. Never came back to refill drinks or bring desert.

Decent Perkins however, the wait was very long for just a waffle, the staff was very inattentive, and the manager was rude when we brought up that they had over charged us. We ended up being charged double and all the manager said was "that's how we charge here". Chances of returning are unlikely.

The price is ridiculously high considering the quality and quantity of the food. But most importantly, I'm more upset about their indifferent service. I ordered an avocado salad but when I got the food there was no avocado. We called the waitress but she just told us they're out of avocado. She didn't even apologize or offer other options. After I further asked for compensation, she offered to take off avocado price from my salad bill. It was totally unacceptable and unprofessional. We called the manager at last, and she came to apologize for the mistake and offered to take off the salad from our bill. We will never go back again. I strongly suggest others not to visit this location unless they change and improve their service.
