I continue to go to SmartStyle after my hair stylist moved here 2 years ago. I have been very pleased with all the stylists as they don’t shave my head each time. They take the time to assess my needs and make the cut look like a trim rather then a ‘re-grow’ experience. The gentleman stylist is a traditional barber using electric clippers so beware, if you want this style he is your man, if you want a scissor cut, then the ladies are for you. I have to come back once for a re-touch as the cut didn’t quite work with my hair and the company policy is to have customers repay for a haircut. That is why one star is missing as that is a greedy policy and unfair to the staff.

This location has the most inexperienced manager who lacks customer service and is in need of training and coaching. Her inability to process a refund and force the customer to make a phone call to her head office speaks volumes of her lack of maturity and ability to do her job. In an economy where customer service is of the upmost importance, she has cost the company a valued customer, future business and any potential referrals and puts a mark against the company's reputation.
