Story

Smack Dab is a lively kitchen and lounge located in the heart of Manteo Resort on the shores of Okanagan Lake. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night snacks, Smack Dab is as perfect for a quick beer after work as it is for an amazing dinner on Kelowna’s largest lakeside patio. Firing the ovens and the taps mid-March 2013!

A delicious menu, set overlooking the lake. I've only dined here once but I cannot find a fault. The menu is fresh and well thought out. The drink list is a nice compliment of local wine and craft beers. A really pretty place to bring a date, for a special occasion, or just for dinner by yourself.

I like to go there for lunch or dinner with my Uncle who is in a wheelchair because it is very handicapped accessible! Plus for me they have some nice vegan options, and a view to die for!!

A gem in the mission area of kelowna. Biggest patio in kelowna with perhaps one of the best kitchens out there. Food is top notch and the view is incredible. Great service team as well. It is definitely a resort not just a hotel/motel. Definitely recommend.

This restaurant is likely one of the best ones to visit while in Kelowna. Although it is a little further out from downtown the view is spectacular and the overall experience was unforgettable. Pros: location by the lake is romantic, scenic and breathtaking. Service was good and very accommodating to larger parties. Food selection is good with shared plates, customized pizza and a large selection of desserts and appetizers. There is a beautiful patio that is gorgeous whether by day or night (when it’s all lit up). It is conveniently located in a hotel so it draws in the foot traffic from the hotel. Cons: prices are a little on the high side with entrees running up to $35 and starters from $15 – 18 per plate. The restaurant has a lounge / bar area, a patio and a dining section. The bar area tends to get a little loud. I would visit again but be prepared to spend a bit of money if you are really hungry. For those of us on a budget, we ended up ordering pizza and shared plates.
