Delicious sliders perfectly cooked with many interesting options. Love the avocado fries. The chop salad is also a nice touch. Happy hour has amazing beer, many are local, at half price. My only critique is wishing for just a touch more meat on the sliders (on the order of an ounce) to make them perfectly satisfying, but I'll never say I'm disappointed. The Dirty Ninja is the award winner I believe and while it is very good my favorites are the Dirty Soprano, the Dirty Hangover, and the Dirty Colonel. They are all worth trying; go find your own favorites.

For lunch, a nice place to stop in. They mostly feature local/NY spirits and beers. Their food is nice, but portions are a bit on the small side for the price. The sliders are very good and there is especially nice attention to flavor, spices and delectable sauces for each item. There are times when their sliders are a bit overcooked. If you were to ask that they ensure the sliders don't come off the grill well-done, they will tend better to the beef. If you are looking to experience the many kinds of appetizer goodness they have to order, the sampler is a great way to realize you just can't go wrong with any choice! The prices are more reasonable when you order quantities of sliders - overall, just a bit higher than expected. You can eat at the bar or at any of the different height tables. The space is very open and airy but not much to look. The flat screens show the menu, not the games or interesting video. Perhaps they will add this kind of thing later. It is definitely worth a visit. The staff are all nice and attentive, even the members of Blues Traveler have been by and enjoyed their stay. This is a nice addition to Downtown Schenectady.

I like this place. The inside of this place is almost similar to Clinton's Ditch, which is located at the other side of downtown Schenectady (where North College Street is located at, near the historic Stockade district). Like Clinton's Ditch, this new establishment is also a bar & grill. If I have money, I could come here on a Saturday or Sunday, just before I go to the museum (for lunch), or on the way home from the museum (for dinner). Prices are good here, and people who work there, including the waitresses are nice and friendly. This building has a large arch window in the front. Years ago, this building itself was once an old trolley waiting room during the days when trolleys were around over 100 years ago. This old trolley waiting room, everytime you look at that big arch window (both inside and outside) in front of that building, it was like an old-fashioned equivalent of today's Amtrak station (Amtrak didn't exist back then around that time until over about 52 years later after that photo was taken) except it was only for trolleys way back when they were existed (see vintage photos of the old trolley waiting room). Just above that arch window on this building has the words: Schenectady Railway over it. (see photo taken by Walter Clark)

Food is really great - but they need to incorporate lunch specials for the noon time crowd. My first trip was not as good as my second and third - I had to wait forever to get served, I can honestly say they forgot about me. That was their first few days of operation and things greatly improved for my second visit. My third visit was outside of lunch - during the early evening hours and there was very little wait at that time. I've now tried a good portion of their sliders as well as the avocado fries and mac and cheese. Great food and atmosphere. Hopefully the wait staff is getting used to the busy crowd. Again, lunch specials would probably help the kitchen and patrons alike. Finally - prices are a little above average for the area - but I didn't feel robbed. I really do hope they make it here in Downtown Schenectady - it's a great addition to the already established food joints.

Delicious food, good choice in beer. Gluten free options and vegan options. Can't wait to go back. Nice atmosphere and just down the block from proctor's theater.
