Update. Sales associate called and said the manager was joking around about the rude comment that was made. Not funny, and I find it really unprofessional. Wasted my time by telling me they will see what they can do. I could hear the sales associate saying to someone that maybe if they just give us some pillows that will keep me quiet. Another sales associate said he can't do that. Ultimately saying that they can't do anything. Asked me to remove the review. Sorry, you didn't do anything to help me or the situation. DO NOT buy your mattresses from Sleep Country. We needed to determine the size when we purchased our mattress and box springs. The sales associate said we could return if needed and try it out. Well, we don't need the box springs. I called and spoke to a salesmanhave a name if required the day we received it, March 2nd; he said that it's best to wait and see if we like the mattress before returning it because it's a fee of $80. I thanked him for this information. I called today and spoke with the " manager" also have the name, and he said that the information provided to us was incorrect and we can only exchange it and not get a refund. He would not even listen to me. I told him that was not what I was told A. when we bought it and B. when I called a last week, the" Manager" laughed at me and said they do not return box springs. They have been doing this for 20 years and will not change things now, especially for me; he laughed and told me they are not a mattress and box spring rental company; umm, obviously, I am aware of this, hence why we spent $3,680.00. I was appalled; I did not know what to say to him, I am pretty upset with the treatment I had received; spending $3,680.00 is no laughing matter, and it is a lot of money. I would NOT recommend Sleep Country; the customer service could be better, and it is apparent that they only care about the money. This was not the impression we purchased the mattress; I was a fool to think otherwise.

Amazing store manager, Mr. Richard. He'll guide you as per your preference. And will not try to influence your buying decision. He'll give you the best advice and the best deal. The store is huge. Variety of options. It's not too crowded on a weekday afternoon.

We walked in on the right day and managed to get a completely unused floor model for a really great price. The sale was quick and easy and we were able to pay on delivery. The delivery guys were fantastic and super respectful of our space. Overall a really fantastic experience for a our first mattress purchase.

I'm impressed with Michael and James who helped me out. They were easy going, matter-of-fact, had my best interest in mind, and not pressuring to purchase. I'm impressed with the sale pricing, the free delivery, and SC's 100 day return policy. I'm sleeping well.... but that's a different review. :0

I have purchased mattresses from Richard at sleep country for the past 20 years. Great guy, great customer service and always a pleasre to deal with. I love my new temper mattress. Great value!

Great staff, they will do their best to get you the best deal and earliest possible. Very unlike big box stores who put on their catalogs but make us wait forever. These guys will deliver early and in time. Bought a king bed complete set.

I always purchase my new mattresses from Sleep Country because their selection is good and their service is excellent. I've had to exchange mattress covers or swap mattresses and never is there a problem. Plus their service delivery guys were respectful and efficient.

The staff at the Richmond location were helpful and efficient. Allowed us to replace our ENDY with a different mattress- they arranged for the pick up and delivery. We were on our way within 25 minutes! Would definitely recommend as a go-to mattress vendor.

Beware of delivery people who will damage your floors and walls. I had such as great experience with the sales people. They found a bed for me and another member of our family for a great price. We ended up buying nearly $4,400 worth of product. The first bed was delivered a few weeks ago. And my mom who was home to accept the bed didn’t notice the damage made by the delivery people. They chipped a piece of wood off the stair nosing and somehow gouged a door casing when they moved the old bed into basement. My mother tipped the deliver folk for the extra effort. When I came home to make sure nothing was damaged, I saw the damage and called the store. Was referred to the service hotline. And sent off pictures to them and it’s been three weeks with no follow up. We will now be cancelling the order and returning the bed and going to the brick store. I am so disappointed. Great sales service. Terrible delivery. And zero ownership to the problem. Lesson learned here: follow those delivery people and don’t let your eye off them. And inspect everything.
