Absolutely thrilling! Kids ages 14 and 10 loved it. A bit apprehensive at first but had a blast. Can't recommend this place enough. All about safety too so there were no worries. Nobody fell but if they did, you didn't work about falling fast. We did beginner and intermediate. Took a full three hours.
We had such a wonderful time! Such a great way to spend time with friends and family. Build confidence and muscles all in one trip. Recommended to dress for the weather, stay hydrated and bring snacks so to can enjoy the day.
Totally awesome! Our daughter was invited to this adventure by her friend as a B.D.present to be able to share the experience with!! The girls had an amazing time and as a parent was Super Proud of their courage and confidence it took to do this type of adventure!
Great experience and outdoor activity for anyone. It’s is challenging and fun all at once. Unfortunately there were only a couple staff members who were happy and willing to help us and explain some of the courses that seemed more challenging or when we were unsure how to do them. Most of the other staff didn’t take any time to help or even pretend like they cared. More friendly and enthusiastic staff does make the difference for an overall good experience.
Visited TreeTop Trekking 1000 Islands in late July 2022 with a 12-year old. He really enjoyed the experience. Safety practices are excellent. Guides are stationed on the ground and at key locations around the course to help participants. Three hours is long enough to do the course and more. Some refreshments and merch is available at the check-in base camp. A washroom is on site. Lots of parking. There are some mosquitoes if you are walking the course, but apparently none in the tree tops. Will visit again in August. Builds self-confidence.
Lots of fun. Friendly guides were watching and helping all around the area. It was a very fun trip and a unique experience with different levels. You start with beginner and go up if you feel confident and ready for the challenge. There's just a couple of the games where I wish they told us before or had a sign up that made it clear that we can step on the green and orange lines and not just on the wood since one of the guides said many people don't know that. It would have saved me a minor shoulder injury when I lost balance on the wood.
The staff working at Treetop Trekking were so friendly and helpful when it came to any questions I had. The staff pointed out the courses and obstacles that would best suit me as a beginner. I had such a great time! Definitely would recommend to anyone who loves nature and isn't afraid of a little height!!!
I had lots of fun with my boyfriend. It’s definitely challenging and quite the upper body workout! I would’ve wished there was more ziplining, as there’s only a few relatively short ones. There was a pretty big safety concern with a 12 year old behind me on an intermediate course. The course instructors told us that it’s impossible for both of the safety devices to be “open” at the same time for safety measures, yet the kid behind me was 30ft on a platform with both of them undone, hanging onto nothing, while trying to figure out how to attach himself to the next obstacle. I advised a worker who seemed shocked that they were both open at once, but then he never checked/changed the kid’s equipment to make sure he would be safe going forward. This could have resulted very badly. I definitely think parents should keep a closer eye on their children and that the park should enforce their safety procedures.
Awesome experience for the whole family! Fun, polite, knowledgeable staff, and various courses/packages to pick depending on the age and fitness level of your group OR select separate courses for different needs. The park is handicap accessible and pet friendly with picnic tables in the adventure course area for those in your party that don't/can't physically participate can still be included. Be prepared for your stay as courses are 2.5-3.5 hours long! Some drinks and ice cream treats sold at base camp.
Fantastic experience. We went as a family with an 18 and a 16 year old. After the initial beginners course you can choose how much more daring each person wants to get by working your way through the courses that become gradually higher and more challenging as you go. There are clean washrooms onsite the women's was low on soap when we visited. The forest floor is left natural and the design seems to be very tree-friendly. The guides around the adventure courses are knowledgeable and friendly. They are all about safety-first but enjoy yourselves. As you can see from the photos we spent the time there with smiles ear to ear.
