Calypso Theme Waterpark

The place is very family-friendly, perfect for relaxing from your daily routine.nnThere's a long wait to get on the slides, but you really enjoy them.nnThey need to fix some of the locker room doors, as some don't have locks, making them difficult to close.nnThe lifeguards do their job very well. The wave pool is a lot of fun, and they pay close attention to it.nnYou have a wonderful time with family and friends.

Overall, I'd describe this as a lovely water park where the whole family, especially children, can have a great time. There are also nice areas where you can bring your own food and eat in the shade, which is another plus. I can also say that the ice cream in the ice cream section is delicious and I highly recommend trying it. I'd also like to point out that the water slides are fun, but sometimes the wait times are long, which wastes a lot of time, and a solution needs to be found. I also think the number of showers could be increased and improved, as some shower heads are malfunctioning or inadequate. The parking lot is ample and adequate, but it would be even better if it were paved. Overall, I think this is a good place to have a good time.

However, you can bring your own food into the park, chairs, etc. they have plenty of picnic tables, grassy areas to use. You just have to get there early to claim something.nnEarly on in the day, there were little to no lines. From about 10-11 it was up and down. From 11-1:00 it progressively got busier. By early afternoon lines hit Max wait times. Some maybe 15 -30 minutes. However, I was able to hit all slides early on and as the day progressed I just went to the short lines.nThere are water fountains, umbrellas and plenty of places to cool down.nnIt had an amazing time here. Already, trying to make plans for next summer to return.nnThanks Calypso, you made my day something great to remember.

Great place to relax and have a great time. I wonder if there are plans to add regular swimming pools around the site. The cabanas look great but the decks could use some repainting. Any plans to extend the hours to perhaps 7pm?nAlso 5:30 is early to close on Fridays.nOverall a great time and great variety of rides.

Great Family Day at Calypso!nnHad an amazing time at Calypso Water Park with the grandkids! Even though the weather was a bit on the cooler side, it didn’t stop us from having a blast. The kids loved every minute of it—from the wave pool to the slides, and the lazy river was great fun, the little ones loved itnnIt was an amazing way to spend the day as a family, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun outing with the little ones or not-so-little ones. Purchasing tickets in advance gave us the best value for the experience.
