Skokomish Park at Lake Cushman

This park is located at lake Cushman in the Olympic forest. Had to pay 10$ day fee but was totally worth it with how nice the lake was. It was clean, clear, and the perfect temperature on a hot day. There is a beach, volley ball area, and rope swings. They also provide kayak, paddles, and sup rentals. Beautiful and very large place. Will be back for camping

We made the best of it. We had made reservations a week in advance. When we arrived there was a burn ban we were not notified of. Every camper around us smoked. The campsite next to us was so close we were only separated by a tree. The campsite next to us smoked pot continuously, used foul language, watched DVD's of comedians with foul language and stayed up until early morning hours with no regard for anyone around them. When we complained, the solution was for "us" to move. Many campers were there to party and had plenty of alcohol. There was not a safe swimming area where we were at. There was broken glass in the water. You had to drive to another site to have a safe swimming area, but safe is an assumption. There is a 2 car rule but it is not enforced. It was clean looking and it is a very beautiful area. The staff was very nice but I do not believe we will occupy these sites again.

Skokomish Park at Lake Cushman is a nice place to get away on vacation. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The campsites were clean and relatively private. The Lake is clean and fun to swim and kayak in. This is also a pretty loud park. Lots of families with kids yelling and running through the park, which is great, but if you're looking for some peace and quiet this may not be my first recommendation.

This park is nice and well kept! A great place for a lake day with the family! The swimming area has plenty of shallows for littles to splash around. Lake Cushman is super clean and refreshing! The only down side is being close to other groups of folks, with different tastes in music, as well as people smoking near others. There is a $10 day use fee, and a 100 yard walk from your car to the swimming/picnic area.

The native Americans have taken back control of the park and what an improvement. The park is nice and facilities are good. Would get 5 stars if they installed a dock at the boat launch.
