Story

Skintricate Tattoo Company is a custom tattoo and body piercing studio located in the heart of Streetsville in Mississauga, ON. We have four amazing tattoo artists; Hollywood, Kyle, Mike, and Destiny who all strive to produce amazing pieces of art. And of course, there is Anna - piercer extraordinaire!

We are HEALTH BOARD REGULATED. Our number one priority is to provide a professional, clean and sterile tattoo and piercing environment. In order to do so, we make sure of the following: regular check-ups from the Health Board of Ontario; regular testing on our autoclave, which is used to sterilize piercing supplies & tools; and we use an all-disposable tattoo process, which means that ALL of our artists utilize "one-time-use-only" needles AND tubes!

First time going here today and as a walk-in. This was such an amazing experience. I got 4 ear piercings and Anna did such an amazing job. She explained the process before she started and showed me everything she was going to use. She marked and let me check if I liked the placement. I asked her to change the placement marker of one and she gladly did it. I never felt uncomfortable during my entire service, I felt welcomed from the minute I walked in the door. Their space is clean and comfortable. Anna opened each sterile needle and jewelry in front of me. I was nervous on picking a clean piercing shop and this was a great pick. Anna explained the aftercare to me and they also texted the aftercare instructions as well. I even bought the aftercare spray. I recommend them if you are looking for a clean, welcoming, professional shop.

Over the years, I have come to Skintricate for piercings and jewelry changes with Anna. Some family has gotten pierced by Anna too, and no complaints about any of my experiences regarding piercings!  This review is particularly about tattoos. I wanted to get my first tattoo ever and chose Skintricate because I have been a client several times for piercings and loved my experience so much that I wanted to get my first tattoo done there. I filled out the tattoo booking inquiry online form and they responded in less than 24 hours after submitting my form with a quote price, estimated duration of the tattoo, booking and deposit info, and all the next steps clearly explained and outlined. I described my design ideas in the form with reference images. When I called the shop to book my appointment, Katie was super helpful and friendly. She booked me with their guest artist currently visiting from Poland and my appointment was in less than 48 hours from the time I called to book! Very fast. I was nervous as I had not done an in-person consultation or had seen any design ideas prior to booking my appointment and paying my deposit. I arrived to my appointment and unfortunately waited about an hour or so before my tattoo even began. The guest artist unfortunately did not speak much English so I was a bit concerned about communication/language barriers. She showed me 3 different options for my design which she reworked a few times based on my preferences. Once the design was finalized, she was very thorough in deciding placement with me and also in setting up/sterilizing her work station. The tattoo was on my left ribs and I was told it would be painful. It was my first tattoo so didn’t know what kind of pain to expect. But once she got started with the tattooing, I was completely comfortable and relaxed. She was incredibly gentle and the pain was a 3/10 in my opinion. I was so so pleased with her artistry and expertise and precision. She took her time and made sure she perfected everything, from lines to shading to every detail! I was so impressed and I absolutely love the way my first tattoo came out! It is beautiful. I will be coming back for future tattoos and referring friends and family. I got my conch and rook pierced by Anna about 6 months ago.  She made the experience very quick and was very helpful with the questions I had.  The piercings have healed beautifully and I never had any problems with them.  I went back yesterday to get my nose pierced and had the pleasure of meeting Maddy.  She is super kind and made me feel very comfortable.  I did express to her that I was nervous and she was patient and talked me through all the steps.  Overall the shop is beautiful and very clean.  The receptionists are always so kind and welcoming.  Everything is very organized and you are treated quickly.  I will definitely be coming back

WOW!  This place is amazing.  I just got my first tattoo here after doing a lot of research.  It is spotless and very warm and comforting when you come in.  The staff are very friendly and personable.  Kyle did my tattoo and put me right at ease.  I couldn’t believe I was actually laughing with the staff while getting tattooed.  Skintricate was recommended to me by my daughter in law who has tattoos everywhere and had them done at many different places.  This is her #1 spot and is now mine.  Who would have thought a 60 year old granny would get the tattoo bug, but I think I have it. This is defiantly  the place to come.Services:&nbsp;Custom tattoo lettering

I've gotten piercings done by Anna before which healed perfectly and the process was very easy. This time I noticed the piercing was a little crooked so when I went back she saw me right away and offered to re-pierce it. She's very friendly, calm and makes you feel so at ease, I definitely recommend her if you're looking to get a piercing!  I also had some jewelry changed by Maddy a few months ago and she was also very friendly and helpful.

Anna and the front desk lady are the sweetest! Anna made sure I took my time while I decided what I wanted and did not rush me whatsoever. They made sure I was comfortable and the front desk also offered me a drink when I felt dizzy after my piercing. Amazing price and amazing service! Would totally recommend.Service:&nbsp;Ear piercing

I got my nose pierced by the wonderful beautiful and talented girl Maddie! She’s is very polite very friendly very respectful very professional very welcoming very knowledgeable and very experienced I know Maddie from square one mall she use to work at pierced. I love Maddie’s personality she’s so caring and empathetic and loving and I also appreciate her practice she’s really good at what she does she very smooth with her practices you won’t even feel any pain of any kind of piercings by her! She did few piercings for me and my nose piercing was the most recent and I am very satisfied with the job she has done! She treated me like one of her family members! I give 10 out of 10 for Maddie’s performance and my experience with her! She’s the best in town! Not only u get the above and beyond customer service by Maddie but you will also get the best placements for your piercings she’s not just an average piercer she’s an artist! Placement of the piercings matters a lot and Maddie is truly an artist! All my piercings done by her look amazing on me because of the placements she’s amazing she’s a true artist! The staff there are so friendly, especially the piercer Maddy! I have gone to her a few times with piercing concerns and to get new piercings. Every time I went she is always so kind and thorough. She explains everything she's doing which makes the experience less nerve wracking. I would 1000% recommend her and will be visiting her again for all my future piercings. i love this place. i got a tattoo here about a year ago, it healed perfectly and it looks absolutely amazing. the people here are so nice! They answer any and all questions I had, and I got a nose piercing here just earlier today. Their service is amazing and im glad i chose this place to do my piercing and tattoo. The way they do everything is so clean and sterile which is amazing.

Very happy with my piercing experience at Skintricate! Maddy pierced my helix and Anna downsized the post. Both ladies are very patient, kind, personable and knowledgeable.  The shop is in a convenient location and is very clean and spacious. Will definitely be going back for any piercing needs!Service:&nbsp;Ear piercing
