Skewers Mediterranean Gourmet Grill

My new go-to spot. I tried Skewers Grill for the first time a few days ago and had to come back for the second time in one week. The food is fresh, crisp, and full of flavour and textures. Each item in the dish has the perfect amount of spice to pair without overpowering the other ingredients. The portions are filling. It is addicting!

This place is amazing! The staff are friendly, the food is delish and so flavourful and fresh! The lamb is on a whole other level! Someone else reviewed it saying it was burnt, not the case for me. The was perfectly bbq'ed to enhance the flavors of the tender meat. The hummus was so smooth and delicious I'd go back just for that. I'm look forward to trying other dishes too. This was a great place to try with some friends for my birthday as it was a hit! Def a new local gem! See you guys again soon!

I came here because of their reviews. I ordered the mixed grill and it was excellent. Would be perfect for 2 people to share but I was really hungry so I ate it all. Friendly staff and I would highly recommended.

Lamb chops - are amazing , very tasty. Hot sauce is nice with the salad. Omg, I am in love with the chops : Too bad I live far, but I think these lamb chops are worth the drive!! Funny,enthusiastic and friendly staffs ! I did take out and head to Lake Front Promenade 1km away watching the lake splashing water and enjoy my take out !!

Really disappointed in the food here. The falafel wrap was dry and the falafel itself over salted. It was still edible though, which I can’t say for the hummus unfortunately. I eat hummus a lot, as it’s a staple food for vegetarians. This is one of the worst hummus spreads I’ve ever tasted. It had a sour like flavour to it, and a quite bitter aftertaste. I ended up throwing the entire container away after one bite Sadly a waste of both food and money for me, as I’m now looking for another place to get lunch today.

Empty & dirty place. Cold and tasteless food. Messed up orders. I hope we won't get food poisoning. When we came there on Saturday lunch time the place was empty. There was no Shawarma preparing. No tasty smell. Toilet was the worst. Everything is dirty and dusty. Open window with a strong wind blowing inside. The hallway to the toilet was disoganized and blocked. Looks like it was a nice place once, but because of change of ownership or management turned to a failed venture. Avoid at all costs!

The reason we come to this place was because of the reviews. Local business run by the whole family seemed like. The chef was very friendly ensuring us that everything is made fresh. A lady with her daughter spoke up telling me how great the food is and they drove all the way from Heartland for it. Place is clean and looks well maintained!

First time eating this restaurant It’s really delicious! I was attracted by the shawarma and ordered chicken shawarma wrap immediately I love the sauce! It is homemade. And the ingredients are fresh! I enjoy chatting with the owner. He is super nice! I’m glad to live in this neighbourhood which means I can eat frequently. Looking forward to try more! Overall, wonderful customer service with yummy food. A definite yes to come here for a grab!

Well… I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now, should’ve waited even longer and forgot about it. What a disappointment. Fat uncle kabob, with an extra skewer in it, and an order of fries on the side… $21.44 … the wrap was very underwhelming. The weight of the wrap even… very sad, I had to check it to make sure the second skewer was on there.. it was the weight of a McDonald’s snack wrap, honestly and that’s being generous. The fries were cooked in old oil for sure as they had that old needs to be changed oil taste to them. Very upsetting, finished the meal cause it was $22 but it’s sad because I still need to actually get a meal to eat as this was low quality and super small and not filling at all for $22. Next time, maybe even in a few minutes, I’ll goto Osmow’s and get twice as much for half the price. I wish I could add the picture I took of the wrap opened up showing how sad it was - also had to remind the guy inside about my fries when he handed me the wrap and went to walk away
