What you can expect here? Nice atmosphere, Middle Eastern music, Shisha, fresh fruit cocktails, Mediterranean dishes and yummy desserts. Not to mention they have an amazing customer service, employees are friendly and generous
Awesome place. Good shisha, good food and great service, nice decor. Thanks Muhammad for passion and dedication to great service and also the lady or manager for letting us have a booth for the short time we were there. Pineapple shisha burned out quicker than expected around 1 hr with 2 people, fresh juice was really good but pricey as 1 glass is around $10. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would visit again I think it's really important for staff to have good customer service towards clients and they should be paid well so they are motivated to keep it up!
Absolutely loved the place, it’s vibe and definitely it’s good. The food is really good and authentic palatable to anyone I guess. It’s a sports bar where u will always find football match being telecasted . Good music .. great service and friendly staff. The Picts are very reasonable and everything just fits.. can I complaint…. No chance… thanks to my friend for introducing this amazing place with middle-eastern ambience . And big shoutout to Sheesha lovers.. coz… guys.. u need to check this out
Amazing food, and amazing service, coming from Vancouver and experiencing this place puts a whole new perspective on just relaxing and having a good time without drinking! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming from out of town !
Great food, even better service! The staff are friendly and accommodating. You must order the kunafeh, and the many fab drinks they have to offer. And how can I forget, the shisha! Really good quality and nice selection of flavours.
Are you getting a bit tired of the plethora of middle East restaurants that have popped up on what seems to be every second corner? My own experience with most of them has been generally positive - tasty fare, reasonable prices, and fast service. But after a while, they start to feel like MacDonald's or Popeye's or Mr. Sub - convenient, fast, reasonable, but very 'run of the mill'. So, when my wife's birthday was coming up, I wanted to take her out for a birthday dinner, and wanted to find a restaurant that was a bit different, both in food style as well as setting. A friend of mine and I had previously gone to Al-Omda Lounge at lunchtime, and had a great meal at a very reasonable price. So I decided to take my wife there for her birthday dinner. We both ended up being VERY GLAD with that decision. First, the setting for dinner was REALLY quite different than at lunch. The place was quite busy, and very lively - more like a social club than a restaurant. Lots of people sitting at tables, playing dominos or cards. And - something I haven't seen in the GTA for decades - both men and women sipping on pots of tea and sucking away at hookahs! No tobacco or other not so legal stuff - just various scented herbs! Smelled good!! As well as individual tables, there were semi-private booths, occupied by groups of friends, or families with young kids - all having a good time! So, you say "That's great, but what about the food?". Well, I'm glad you asked! My wife ordered lamb chops, which were beautifully prepared on a grill, with a side of nicely flavoured rice, and a freshly baked pita. I had a plate of falafel that were perfectly prepared - crispy exterior, and soft inside. These came with homemade hummus and pickled radish and peppers. We both shared a 'middle east pizza' called manakish - freshly made, with taste and flavour you won't find at any Domino's or Pizza Pizza. After our meal, we shared a small pot of tea. This was the only slightly disappointing item that we had. The pot was REALLY small enough for 2-3 cups total, but the price was REALLY big - about nine bucks. And that was the reason I rated the food at four stars instead of five. But overall this is a five star restaurant in my opinion. And I don't think we'll wait for another special occasion before we go back. Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious veggie-only dishes, falafel likely being one of the more popular Kid-friendliness: Lots of family groups were there, with kids ranging in ago from five up! Delicious food, great hospitality from nice staff, with very nice music. Great experience overall, I highly recommend Al-Omda Dundas Lounge everyday of the week.
I was really excited to come to this place after seeing the photos of the food, ambience of the restaurant and of course the shisha. First off, this place is very reasonably priced... the food n the shisha . I loved the Middle Eastern decor and they were showing the FIFA world cup match on a big screen. The jibn zaatar manaeesh was delicious. However, the shisha was another story altogether. It tasted as though the apparatus hadnt been fully cleaned from the previous smoker. From the first puff itself, it didnt taste fresh n clean. It tasted burned and like some aftertaste was left behind. That was very disappointing. I think the point where I got disgusted n left was when i saw two cockroaches on the floor and climbing up the counter. I kinda ignored the first one, but after seeing the second one, omg, yuck . In that disgust I missed taking pics of it and left. To the owners... you have an awesome setup and some awesome food. This place is a gem. Please do better! I would really like to return for some good shisha and no cockroaches.
Great atmosphere! Amazing shisha with fast and friendly the service. Tried food here for the first time and it was very fresh and worth it, especially if you’re with a group. Might be difficult to find spots on the weekend, but if you do, you’ll enjoy it!
Nice Middle Eastern Vibe, with Middle Eastern Songs. They had the Basketball game on Multiple screens when we went there which was a nice surprise. The shisha was very good tried their Mango and Al-Omda Special Mix. Staff was very friendly and generous. The tea comes in a pot of different sizes. You can play card games while enjoying shisha. They also have a patio but were unable to enjoy it because of rain but definitely would try it next time over the summertime.
