Go There Now! If you’ve driven by this spot and saw the Hyderabadi Biryani and were curious you must go. Ali and Muna are so lovely, proud of the food from their home and equally proud to live in Mississauga. They took the time to explain to me how this biryani is made and how it’s different from others. It is just the right amount of spice but also so light and bright. An incredible portion size that will feed four people and you’ll wonder how this quality and size is not more expensive. I will absolutely return. It was delicious. We need to support these small businesses making incredible food

The best in the city hands down! I've been looking for biryani and butter chicken for a while now. This place has the tastiest food you'll ever eat. Dinners are $8!! Very nice staff! Butter chicken serving $6. You just can't beat the price and quality! Highly recommend My new go to for my favorite cuisine!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Salwaa Shawarma. The chicken was good and the toppings were fresh; I tried all the various sauces and the sandwich was still easy to consume with a bare minimum of messiness. I like supporting family run small business operations and Salwaa Shawarma fits the bill for me.

Amazing biriyani with really good flavour and portion size. Good value, friendly owners and I have been coming here for a couple of months now. Happy to have them in the neighbourhood.

I ordered a tray of veal Biryani for an event. The biryani was one of the best I have ever tasted. The meat was tender and good quality. The flavour was delicious and the rice perfectly cooked. And best of all quantity was plentiful. All my guest enjoyed the biryani. I strongly recommend the restaurant

I ordered the chicken Shawarma poutine and was pretty disappointed. All I got was fries, chicken and gravy. No cheese at all, so how is it a poutine? Not to mention no garlic sauce, chipotle mayo or hot sauce. So bare bones. The chicken was flavourful but was very dry. Not too happy. Maybe I should’ve tried the biryani like everyone else seems to love.

food was not fresh at all, tasted very old. Food was overpriced too, and not many toppings to choose from. Service was decent here, not a busy place though, there weren’t any customers when we came in. Owners were just sitting and watching tv. Yes tv. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. They aren’t very sanitary either! no masks, no bouffant caps, no social distancing and also they dropped a piece of chicken on the counter and put it right back into my shawarma. Disgusting!

It is seasoned just right and they are not cheap with ingredients or meat, and their prices are very competitive. I highly recommend this shawarma joint to shawarma lovers. Their meat is flavourful. I got their shrimp plate below for 13, amazing. Oh and their samosas are really good too; they know how to season meat and everything is hot and fresh. Their salads are pretty good too, wide variety of vegetables and greens.

TERRIBLE. We ordered some food for take out and I asked for an extra tray so the food wouldn’t spill. They said they didn’t have an extra tray so I asked if it was going to leak or spill and they said no. So we tucked the food in the trunk to make sure it didn’t slide around. I drove extra cautiously since there was food in the back and of course when I open the trunk it had leaked all over despite the workers confidently saying it won’t leak. We drove back to ask them to re-wrap it and they gave me attitude and barely wrapped it again. I had to argue just to get some tissues for my car. They tried to blame me saying the trays moved around in the car, but the trays didn’t shift around the trunk, they only leaked. They refused to give me a little extra foil for the bottom and finally said “okay take it and go.” They are cheap, disrespectful, and uncooperative. Please, learn from my mistakes and order elsewhere.
