My 61 year old mother has severe neuropathy of the legs and feet, needs both knees replaced, has fibromyalgia, arthiritis and needs a carpal tunnel surgery on one wrist and a redo on the other. The woman worked hard all her life. Her pcp has been switched 3 times now over the last 4 years by skagit regional. Each time they change her medications around. She does take pain medication, she usually splits them in half as soon as she gets them because she only takes the minimal amount when she can no longer walk. This time of year is more difficult with the weather. The new Camano doc has lowered her pain meds 3 times in the last 3 months, and changed other meds (antidepressents that are supposed to take away pain) multiple times. She feels awful all the time, she is now using a cane 50% more than 3 months ago. I understand the importance of reducing opiod use. Do they understand the importance of providing pain management for older patients who will have life long pain conditions? His last piece of advice when she asked what to do and said some people said try pot, was "well we dont really have enough research but a lot of people do it." Seriously? You guys need to start treating patients like individuals and not a hoard of drug soaked cattle. She has been in the same quantity per month for 3 years....30 to 45 and actually reduced the qty prior to that, never asks for early, never runs out ahead, never uses alternatives not prescribed. Im sickened by the treatment of our aging population at skagit regional. This is not the first case Ive heard of and Im sure it wont be the last.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Worst place I've ever been to. Messed up the scheduling on multiple appointments of mine. I would take time off work for my appointments and get there and I wouldn't be scheduled, end up having to take the whole day with no pay waiting to get in. I was going to prenatal appointments, they gave me very little information, never called to tell me results of tests, if I called I wouldn't get calls back. Personally went into the office to get them to send my medical to my new doctor, they sent absolutely nothing so I had to redo bloodwork and ultrasound at my new place. And then to top it off I get a bill from my insurance company, I have double coverage and shouldn't pay anything out of pocket. They messed up my billing as well and only billed my primary, so I have to also personally sort all that out with my insurance company. They are honestly the worst, you'd get better health care in prison.

Dr. Ryan Guanzon is the worst doctor. Ordered the wrong lab test and now I’m being charged $300 out of pocket. Tried to get it waived but still no response from anyone! His receptionists are RUDE, his medical assistant “Jodi” thinks she’s a doctor. By the way, you will never be able to speak to your doctor directly. You will always be transferred to an illiterate medical assistant here. IF I WERE YOU I’D FIND ANOTHER CLINIC SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Skagit Regional urgent care docs....I went in , diagnosed myself. Said ok we will do a lead test. Thank you, you will hear back in a few days. I said so you think my symptoms do seem to be from possible Lead poisoning? He said well I'm not a specialist in led poisoning and I don't know much about it, so we will just do they test and see. (He works as doc in urgent care) shouldn't he have a little knowledge in these things) I said well with all my symptoms do you think it could be something else? Which it completely could!!!!! No, he said. Extreme fatigue, horrible headaches, extremely irritable, nausea all day dizziness, apparently are not things to worry about. I said so if the test comes back negative, than what? Is there anything else you want to look into at this time? He pretty much stared at a wall. I just went in , diagnosed myself, and left, now I'm going to be billed. Fun.
