Dr Cowan is FABULOUS! By far one of the best doctors around. Very knowledgeable and explains everything. His wife Michelle is great too and so is Jess the ARNP. I have good experiences here thus far.

Made my first appointment here due to a good experience from a family member. Unfortunately this was not the case for me. Originally wanted to get in with Dr. Cowan but he was booked three months out. I settled for the next available which was Meagan Keaton. Upon entering the front desk staff didn't even give a slight smile and came off rude. The nurse we had to check vitals was nice but that was probably the only decent part of the visit. Dr. Keaton came in and wasn't very nice to begin with, once again just came off rude. She lied to me about two different things that I have done credible research on and knew the truth. After changing my mind about something being administered to my son, she got extremely defensive and was too close to my face asking why and talking about death and telling me to do credible research rather than some "mom blog". I just said yeah and we left. It was a joke. Dr. Keaton was terrible.

I had gone to only one appointment for stomach issues. I thought Michelle Antonich was nice and I liked her. She put me on an elimination diet however, did not ask me about my financial situation. I ended up going broke for this diet because the only place I could find most of the food was at the over priced food co-op. The diet caused more problems than just stomach pain.There had to be another way. So I called to figure it out - the receptionist would take a message, give it to the nurse and it took 2 - 3 days to get back to me. They would call when I could not answer, leave a bitchy message, then when I called back, I had to leave another message with the receptionist. Then it took another 2 - 3 days for them to get back to me and would call when I could not answer and leave yet another bitchy message. It was a cat and mouse game that I did not have time for. I ended up losing ten pounds in ten days and had to discontinue the diet since I couldn't get a hold of any one. When I first walked in they told me to sit down until they got off the phone, but then they get off the phone and see people who had came in after me. I had to elbow my way through people to let her know that I was here first and now late for my appointment and she asked why I didn't say anything. She was the one who told me to sit and wait and I ended up arguing with her instead of her just giving me the paperwork. I even over heard the receptionist arguing with this poor pregnant woman about who was going to deliver her baby. They have WAY too many patients and the receptionists are overwhelmed. I can't even get a call back in a timely manner for a simple yes or no question. I had to cancel my next appointment and go somewhere else.

I have been seeing Dr Cowan and Michele Antonich for over 12 years... They have always taken time to explain and trouble shoot problems with me. Michele delivered all of my three children and will soon be delivering #4. I found her very competent and compassionate with her care. Dr. Cowan is not only my pcp but he is also my children's care provider, for a brief time before he became a nurse practitioner I had to take my two oldest to a pediatrician ... We went through 3 before I found one that I trusted and liked only for her leave because SRC is very hard to work for. Luckily, Dr Cowan was then done with school and able to be covered by our insurance. If you want a provider that will throw a pill at every problem this is NOT the clinic for you! They take a more holistic approach in their care, they recommend lifestyle changes before exploring medication options. One aspect of care that I appreciate as a fellow health care provider, is that they are willing to admit when they do not have the answer. I respect that they will look up and research more information instead of jumping to a off hand conclusion that is wrong! I have also had Jessica when Dr Cowan is busy or gone, she is also very friendly and competent. My family and I will continue to go here for care.

Michelle and Stacey did a home birth for me which was a very spiritual and empowering experience. Both of my children see Jessica for care. I absolutely love and trust this clinic and I highly recommend it to all of my friends and family.
