Sidewalk Citizen Bakery

This wonderful bakery has become my go-to spot every Sunday after my run with the crew. The inviting aroma and cozy atmosphere are always a delightful end to our morning routine. Their pastries are nothing short of exceptional, with a particular highlight being the cardamom roll bun. The perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors, combined with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture, makes it an irresistible treat. Each visit leaves me eagerly anticipating the next, making this bakery a cherished part of my weekend tradition.

It’s a great food. Actually it’s a match, delicious coffee, yummy food, all sweets treats are unbelievable nWe ate avocado toast with salmon 10/10, I’m so exited to eat it again!

I love the coziness of this place with lots of natural lights. The place is decorated with lots of plants.nThe food is decent. We ordered a meat quiche and a breakfast sandwich, but both weren’t WOW.

Very pretty place in the downtown of Calgary, I ordered the veggie sourdough sandwich and it was super tasty, I couldn't imagine you can actually put cauliflower inside a sandwich and taste so good!

Had high expectations of this place, but it didn’t deliver. The sausage roll was literally dripping with oil. And I asked for it heated up, it was burnt to a char on top. I had to pick off the black flakes. The cardamom roll lacked flavour seriously. Everything else like the simple sandwich, jalapeño scone, ham and cheese croissant, everything I ordered was mediocre at best. On top of that the staff were very scattered and not professional. The girl at the counter was literally sipping her protein smoothie and checking her phone. After a long wait for my pastry to get heated up; I got impatient and asked her if it was the one sitting right in front of her. She looked up from her phone and said yes. That’s all. No apology.
