Best Thai food I've had in a long time. Portions are not huge but that's ok as this is food to be enjoyed with all your senses. So relax and get ready for flavors that you'll crave pretty soon. Service was kind and polite, the atmosphere was clean, light and properly decorated. Will come back again pretty soon!!!
Simply the best Thai food I've had in Edmonton. The quality and generous ingredients mixed in with great value, I don't think I'll ever cheat on Siam with another Thai restaurant. Red and green curries are like liquid crack, no lie. Siam Thai Kitchen is a must try.Food: 5/5
Amazing food! The best Thai food in Edmonton. The ladies are super welcoming and friendly. Everything is super tasty and flavorful you can't go wrong with any plate but so far my favorite is pad Thai! And the dessert is great mixing roti with coconut ice cream makes everything better! I just took pictures of the new and extended menu. Check them out !
Siam Thai Kitchen is a hidden gem. My daughter and I went for lunch. The Pad Thai was delicious, perfect flavors and the noodles had a chewy texture unlike some noodles that are too soft. Both the massaman curry and penang curry picture taken after we had a few spoonful were tasty, abit on the sweet side but still delicious. Their house made chili oil should be bottled and sold. Yes, it's that good. Will definitely go again. The waitress was very nice and the cooks love to sing in the back. Restaurant is cozy and clean.
A friend of mine ordered takeout from Siam and it was some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The pad Thai and red curry were especially delicious. I strongly recommend it and I will definitely order from here again!
We had red curry and pad Thai. They both had good portion sizes not huge though, were quite tasty, though not perfect to my taste. Maybe it's a north American palette thing, but many Thai places make their food wayyyy too sweet, this location not an exception. I feel like I am having a dessert instead of a main dish. IMO ethnic restaurants should make authentic food true to their traditional recipe. Times have changed, there is no need to cater to so called local tastes that may have also evolved. Customers will reward restaurants for their authenticity. Another thing is the beef is not tender enoughhad to chew on it very hard. Lastly they also charged me the price of coconut rice even though I ordered Jasmine rice, didn't realized until after I have left. I may still be back if I want somewhat of a Thai food even a mutated version, I mean TBH the competition is even worse. Prices are on the high side considering the location it's in an industrial park, rent must be super cheap!
Best Thai food in the city!! The Red Curry, Green Curry, Coconut Rice. It was all the best. For dessert The Sweet Roti was amaaazing. I couldn’t include any pics of the food because I couldn’t help but to dive right in. Also, great customer service. Always a really a great experience here
I really like this place. I am surprised to have not discovered it earlier. It is now a go to in my book. Service was friendly and genuine. Food reminded me of Thailand and I will certainly be back.
Google doesn't seem to know about the Fort McMurray location yet. I tried to post this as a review of the Fort McMurray location but I see that it's tagged as Edmonton. Actual address is 8102 Franklin Ave, Fort McMurray, AB Unit 39 I believe. One of the best experiences ever at a restaurant. Although I love to eat, restaurants rarely satisfy me. But this place was great. The Basil Rice had a very noticeable Basil taste without being over powering. The Garlic Shrimp were delicious and the sauce provided with it was nicely different from the sweet sauce you get everywhere else. Then came Tamarind Chicken. Again, a very noticeable Tamarind taste without being over powering. Tom Yum soup, quite possibly the best I've ever had. Top three certainly. Top two even. Then we also had the Pad See-ew noodles. Fantastic. Only drawback? I had to share with the 3 other people at the table.
Absolutely love this little hidden gem. You'll need to drive to a NW industrial strip mall, and the ambience is very simple, but the food is absolutely worth it. Their spice combinations are all prepared in house, and are consistently excellent. Of course their Pad Thai and curries are delicious - not greasy, full of flavor, crispy veggies, but I'd also recommend the spicy Tom Kah Kai. It is very very good, if you can handle spice. A side of their coconut rice is essential. The staff is very attentive and genuinely friendly. Not only my favorite Thai place in Edmonton, but might be the best Thai in Edmonton right now.
