Story

Starting from the basement of a small home, to a bakery in Fort Saskatchewan, comes a small bakeshop, inspired by God, that's here to pack a punch and make a difference in this city. Manila Sweets is a family-owned, private business specializing in Filipino product, but accommodating many different cultures into one pastry store. Selections include anything from breads and lunches to pies and cakes. Baker and owner, Ann Zabala, also takes specialty cake orders to a whole new level with her 20+ years of experience.

A great place to buy some authentic Philippino sweets. The owner is super friendly and helpful!

Baked chicken empanada had a really buttery shell, flaky on the edges, nice chew, the egg tart was a little sweet sort of expected and the shell was really well done, sturdy but yielding to bites, it didn’t crumble much.

First time visiting this place, place is so clean and smells good.Chicken embanada is so good.

Their cakes are soooo bumbaclot delicious!!!! Ohhh my gosh. I was in shock me a tell you. Di cake goooooooood enuh. Man all deliver the cake after making it on short notice. My gosh. I will not buy any pastry from anywhere else. Best service in Edmonton!!!!!!! Big up yuhself Manila Bakeshop!!!

Owners were very friendly and welcoming, and I am always greeted with a warm smile. I recommend you buy the Monay, it is very good and a little sweet. The Siopao there is Top notch. Hand crafted delicacies. Very savory. Definitely coming back for more.
