Shore Road Seafood/Crow's Nest Dining Room

The seafood chowder is milk-based, with a well balanced mix of fish, scallops and lobster. The flavour is great. Needed no additional seasoning. It came hot to the table, and no ingredients were overcooked. Note that the broth is milk based, no cream or thickener to muddy the flavours. Finally, this is a meal in a bowl. The bowl is filled, then mounded high with more potatoes, fish and scallops, then topped with some claw meat. This is the finest seafood chowder I have eaten in a restaurant - anywhere.

Amazing fried clams - I could eat them by the bucket. Generous portions and friendly service, too.

Had scollops three way with salad..the scallops were amazing so fresh and cooked to perfection! My husband had fins and feathers. The fish was also fresh and cooked great however the chicken looked like a pre cooked chicken. Great seafood option close to home with good prices...oh and the deep fried pickles spears we're amazing!

We were in Nova Scotia September of 2017 to look for a house to buy. While there friends treated us to a meal at your restaurant. I had the Seafood Chowder and what a bowl of chowder it was! Amazing flavours and generous portions. It was SO good we bought a house just down the road from you (short walking distance) ! Well, actually it wasn't just to be near you but you will be seeing a lot of us when we move down permanently in 2019. Kudos to you and your staff!

Best lobster club in the whole valley! You can't get more seafood for your money anywhere else. Their fries are some of the best I've had. It's a small restaurant so reservations are recommended unless you want to sit at the benches outside(which isn't too bad). Their seafood chowder has lots of scallops and not so much lobster(so depends on your preference). Awesome little restaurant!
