Captain's Cabin

Excellent food. So good that we came here every day of our trip to Digby. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were perfectly cooked. The waitress was very nice. Little bit disappointed of the amount of lobster in the lobster roll. We will definitely be back next year!

Had the fish and chips and chicken fingers and fries all very goodnAsked for iced tea and if it was can/bottle or housemade, I really didn't mind which one, just wanted to know. The server said it was a powdered mix.nIt cost $4.25....and I got 2....$8.50 for powdered mix is not cool.nThe servers should also find somewhere to stand so they aren't staring at the people...us...eating our meal.

Great little place, always busy when we went but the staff deals with orders quickly and efficiently. Very little wait time from being eated to being served. We enjoyed the seafood platter so much we went back the next evening for chowder, lobster sandwich and pan fried haddock. If you're tired of fries, ask for mashed.

Typical seafood restaurant in a small town. Good location on the main street of Digby. Service ok, friendly enough. Ordered a bowl of seafood chowder, was informed there is only a cup sized portion left, which was fortunate because the chowder was watery, and bland. There was plenty of seafood in it mind you, just that the broth was watery and tasteless, maybe the chef added extra liquid in it because there wasn't a lot left. Anyway, that was a disappointing cup of chowder.
