Shoppers Drug Mart

Was greeted when I entered the store. Wanted to ask some questions to pharmacist. Went to the consultation counter and was told they would be there soon by someone behind counter. Pharmacist yelled over, how can I help. I was a little put off because I wasn't going to yell my issue over to him. Waited until he arrived at counter. He was helpful when in discussion. Went to cashier at front to pay for product and they were finishing up with customer. Customer appeared to be organizing wallet when done. Cashier left till and I was stuck waiting. When I saw that I wasn't a priority and wouldn't be helped anytime soon I went to self checkout. As I left, noticed the same situation with another customer.

Staff is good to deal with and conveniently located. No problems at all and on 2 different occasions I’ve spent money and walk out. The lady stopped me in my tracks, gives me a code and boom….25000 points. I can’t even imagine how many points we’ve all been screwed out of because someone never made the effort to tell people why they are walking away from. On that alone I will continue to go back and be advised. Thanks Shoppers

Honestly, some of the rudest service I've ever had at a pharmacy. At least pretend to care about the patients you are serving. Almost the entire staff, including the pharmacists, act miserable. There are far better pharmacies in town with staff who will actually care and we won't be using this one again.

Had a great experience today! Went in to buy some new makeup products and Victoria C in the cosmetics department was super knowledgeable and helpful! She recommended me specific products for my skin type to prevent skin damage and offered many different variations of products I was looking to buy. She was super enthusiastic to help and went above and beyond. We need more people like Victoria working in customer service I will definitely be back again the next time I need to purchase more makeup. Thank you Victoria!!!

This particular SDM @ 203rd has been our home base Shoppers for many years. Some of the staff have come and gone, but there are some regulars who have been there forever, and they are a truly awesome staff. All of the pharmaceutical staff are amazing as well, contrary to some of the negative comments I've heard. Simon & his team go above and beyond the call of duty when you really need something done in the pharmacy. They are helpful and make good suggestions when we have questions related to our prescriptions. Amanda, one of the senior pharmacy assistants, is a huge asset to the team and they are very fortunate to have her as an employee.nI've mentioned Amanda's positive interactions to Simon, the store's owner, a number of times. If anyone Reading this review, feels the same way about Amanda or any of the other staff, please feel free to mention it to Simon the Owner. Positive comments are so nice to receive!!nIf I had any negative comments, it would be that they lack an in-store presence of a full time security officer. The whole west side area has sadly become full of homeless people, and they come into the store on a regular basis and steal whatever they want. The staff are helpless to do anything, and it would be endangering their own lives if they were to intervene. Also against Loblaw's company policy I believe I have spoken to Simon about this.nThe only time that I see in-store on site security guard s is around the holiday season. I personally witnessed a woman stealing two expensive digital thermometers as I was standing directly behind her in the aisle, I mentioned it loudly to the staff, and her huge male accomplice materialized out of nowhere needless to say.... these things do and WILL continue to happen in every retail environment.nI give this Shoppers Drug Mart my own personal score of 8/10.nIn closing, I find it particularly handy to know that I can run into this store at 11:30pm any night of the week and grab my Rx or whatever I may need.nAll of the other SDM stores close at 10pm.nKeep up the great job you're all doing!
