London Drugs have always been my go -to for cosmetics and electronics, but I had an unusual experience at this store last week. I have had passports for almost 45 years and understand the requirements. I needed passport photos taken, but the photographer at this branch gave me three pieces of wrong information. First, she told me that I needed to tuck my hair behind my ears otherwise the photo would be rejected. I told her that that's not the case, and she immediately got defensive. Then she told me that the photo couldn't be in black-and-white and I said wrong again. Lastly, she said that all adult Canadian passports are 10 years now with no options for a 5-year passport. I travel extensively and am familiar with photo requirements. She became snippy and impatient and gave me little time to arrange myself properly on the chair before she took the photo. She walked away from me and would not give me the opportunity to look at the photos to see if they were okay. I understand that people can have bad days, but to react poorly because I disagreed with the information she provided me was not good customer service. I suggest that employees in departments are familiar with the expectations of whatever service they are providing; this was a decidedly unpleasant and negative experience.

I had two unsuccessful experiences with this photo studio.nBefore taking the passport photo, I clearly explained the mandatory requirements, as they were very specific. A young man assured me that he knew how to do it.nHowever, the photo was printed incorrectly and did not meet the required standards. Despite my comment, the young man said he didn’t know how to fix it, then turned around and went on his lunch break.nA female employee later explained that they actually don’t provide the specific photo format I needed and refunded my payment. I wasted my time and was frustrated that they didn’t inform me about this in advance.nnDespite that, some time later, I decided to give them another chance with a new request, just to make sure they understood what needed to be done this time. Unfortunately, the manager was rude and abrupt.nI will not go back to them again and will avoid using their services in the future.

Slowest pharmacy department i’ve ever experienced. It’s not that complicated to grab a bag, ring it up, and send people on their way. The pharmacists also know little to nothing about the medication they sell on top of that. Again, all of this is compared to other pharmacies i’ve visited in the last 20 years.

Store is always clean, well kept, and has interesting things. Had an excellent experience today from a pharmacist by the name of Micheal. He went above and beyond to make sure things were explained clearly, and helped get my family prepared for the birth of our child. Thank you. I will continue to be a patron of this business!

The repair service of my MacBook is very professional and efficient in the computer department. They helped me to scan the device thoroughly and replace my screen within 3 working days. Customer service is excellent.
