Shoppers Drug Mart

Came into this store with my daughter and her friend. They were trying on tester lipsticks. One younger worker in the cosmetics was telling two 12 year olds to move something for her where they were and it ended up being some sensor/camera. At that point I was right there with them and all they were doing was testing pixie lipstick which were TESTERS. I had to go somewhere to get something not in the cosmetic area. Then my daughter and friend had two cheap essence lipglosses that they were buying and also tried on. Yes i understand they shouldnt have used them before they made the purchase. Then another older manager? lady came up and asked if they were theres and they said no honestly to her but stated they were buying them and then she got them to buy it right away because they were using them understandable. However when they went to her cash desk to buy them, she was still giving them a hard time about it as they were buying them. They they bought them and she proceeded to literally chase them down the aisles in the store and threatened security as they went to get me in another aisle. They weren't stealing anything. They just purchased their lip glosses from HER as she told them to and this lady then starts threating them with security chasing them around!. This is pestering harassment that was not called for. She could have left them alone after that as everything was fine. They had no intention to steal anything and they did not. This store calls security all of the time you go in. So they are watching people when they shop and calling security for absolutely no reason mind you security never comes because you cant blame someone for stealing when there is absolutely no proof of it.

One of the most unprofessional shoppers I’ve ever dealt with.nThe pharmacist put the wrong dose on my pill bottle, resulting in me taking too many. I called back, hours after I realized. I actually talked to a really nice male pharmacist.nI just called back, and asked to speak to the pharmacist, and the lady said you have a question for them? Yesssss. What?nShe said she busy. Never in 17 years of dealing with a shoppers have they told me the pharmacist is busy she call me back.nShe took my info and it was dead silence! I said hellloooo she laughed and said I’m inputting your info.nTerrible and completely unprofessional. Don’t go here

First, I just want to say, I only used this pharmacy because the food basics one was out of flu shots and they would have NEVER made me feel this uncomfortable. The lady who gave me my shot was the most incompetent pharmacist I've ever met. She looked me dead in the eyes and asked to confirm if the flu vaccine was the one I wanted... WHILE THE NEEDLE WAS IN MY ARM, and she handled the needle like she never held one before. I know from past employment you never use both thumbs to push down the plunger as it increases wobbling and can cause unnecessary pain. Because she used both hands she didn't have a free hand to press a cotton ball and I had to sit there with my sleeve raise waiting for her to apply a bandaid and when she finally realized I was bleeding, she got her dirty hands all over the sterile part.nnI am NEVER going here to get a vaccine, it was so unprofessional. I would rather go to a addict in a dirty alley, there is probably the same level of injection handling and technique. I went back to food basics to ask for the best way to guarantee spot next year. I wish I could give -5 stars

nnJoanne in the cosmetics department at Shoppers Drug Mart was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. She recommended products that fit my skin type and budget, explained how to use them, and was genuinely pleasant throughout. I left confident and satisfied. Highly recommend asking for Joanne.

The worst pharmacy. Terrible service, rude, never answer the phone and ignore you at the counter. Renewed a prescription on Thursday, went in Saturday to pick up as I hadn't heard anything and they weren't answering the phone after multiple calls Friday and Saturday. Saturday at 6pm they said they were still working on it it would be 10-15 minutes.. after 30± I followed up.. still not ready. After over one hour and a very rude pharmacist I received the pills. Will be switching pharmacies.
