Shoppers Drug Mart

Was told this location does not allow minor illness walk ins. Completed the walk in request on the website, went to the location, as the instructions said to do; and was told they only accept confirmed set appointment times in advance. The earliest being the next day. I double checked the website again and it clearly says that walk ins for minor illness are accepted.nI ended up going to a different shoppers drugmart and was checked in, helped, spoke to the pharmacists and on my way home with the RX I needed, in less than 10 min. This original pharmacy spent well over 20 min trying to find excuses not to help. They kept saying I had to book an appointment for the next day. This particular pharmacy is open later and had more staff than the second one I traveled too. They are also my usual pharmacy!!! The second pharmacy was happy to help me, even as they were about to close for the night. All in all I really can not understand why the High and Lansdowne location changed their policy to not allow walk in minor illness consultations. Even if the website still provides that as an option and directs persons seeking care to do so.

I would like to comment on a very poor cleanliness of this store- the baskets are so dirty...I don't think they were ever washed...This store has had some amazing cosmetic department staff over the years and this is why I kept coming back. It is difficult to believe that before I step into the store, I am 'greeted' by a stack of filthy shoppers handheld baskets that I want to use and simply cannot do it - disgusting.nJust to add to other shoppers comments- couldn't agree more with them as I know exactly what it feels likento experience poor customer service at this location. Very disappointed to say the least.

Can’t get any lower. I walked in, 2 employees chatting by the make- up counter.. I grabbed my couple of items… looked for a cash register with an employee at it… no one in sight…went to self check out.. then I notice an employee behind me, listening to music on ear pods! At the end of ME cashing myself out.. the machine has the nerve to say…Tell US how we did today…Seriously! Looked like zombies were running the store, absolutely no human contact! Disgusting…. Next time I’ll order from Amazon!!

Get your prescriptions filled anywhere else! The customer service is so bad! They always claim they haven’t received my prescriptions even though I triple check that my doctor has sent them. They are never ready on time and after several calls to confirm, they finally tell me their system in down? Picking up medication should not be this complicated. Westmount pharmacy or Costco is so much better! :

This pharmacy messes up every time I need my prescriptions renewed.nI had 6 prescriptions that are due at the same time. They have managed to stagger the dates repeatedly.nThey advise that prescriptions are ready when they are only partially filled or not filled at all. They arbitrarily alter the amounts what the doctor has ordered to maximize their dispensing charges and create many more trips to pick up prescriptions. They are totally useless when it comes to doing things right.
