People working the Pharmacy deserve medals. The owner's also a fantastic guy. I'd be far crankier if I had to deal with the addicts, thieves & bullies they do.nTheir phone system is, well, why waste the phone number. You can't call in or use an online form to request a refill of a script, you actually have to drop by & wait. I've waited an hour, but usually 10 mins. Very good, professional people behind the Pharmacy desk.nYou will NOT have privacy at this pharmacy unless you ask for it, but by default, whoever's waiting near you will hear your name & your prescription. This is why the online request for script renewal is so important.nSmall portion of the staff otherwise are people I'd hire, but most aren't.nYou're working in a store & a bunch of packing tape stuck to a box lid is on the floor in front of you. Or a product like a bag of cat treats fell off the end of the prong, onto the floor. They walk past it. They can also be very loud - they shout conversations while you're trying to communicate with the pharmacist. One actually kicked a piece of a box as he walked by. I can't blame the pharmacy completely, but how people have such awful work ethic is only thanks to a service-workforce shortage.nnThere are also gangs of organized heists taking thousands of $ worth of stuff at once. Police station actually across the street, ~200m to their door. How long do you think it'd take to get an officer there.nThe hours at this pharmacy are uniquely excellent. They have a good selection of 'emergency' things, in case of a big storm or you need your prescription filled at 11:30pm.nThe real reason this place deserves 3 stars or fewer - their parking lot. Somebody, not the current owner, added speed bumps. On PEI. Naturally, the parking lot is a series of craters anyway, but with speed bumps, the snow plows come in & tear it to pieces. It's the worst parking lot of any store I've ever been in. Your car will bottom out coming in, going out, and they even allow a left turn across 2 lanes of traffic. A gravel yard would be an improvement. Left for another year or so without repair, that might be what it'll be.nThe Pharmacy & pharmacists deserve better - but the store portion needs better management. You don't have to place products on displays directly in the path of people with carts. In every place, a thing. Crowded place.
Had a horrible experience thanks to the older lady working the counter at the beauty section.nnI wanted to buy some perfume. I waited quite a while this older lady dark short hair, mask was dealing and chatter with another customer a white older lady as well. And when they were finally done talking, I went to the perfume display and asked if the worker could open up the display and let me smell two perfumes so I could choose. The worker had a very unfriendly attitude towards me and seemed hesitant to even let me smell. She sprayed the two perfumes, then locked the case and walked away. I waited at the display, thinking she would come back to let me buy one. She just sat aher counter and don’t move. I went up to her counter and was waiting for her to ask me which one I wanted. She ignored me. So, I left and bought the $150 perfume at the other shoppers downtown.nnNot sure if she is that rude/ignores all customers, but she seemed willing to help the older white lady before me. I felt a bit profiled.
Today's experience was bad there isn't working or working as slow as hell many customers left the queue because of slow system even I was in line the and end up with the leaving all the stuff they should ensure are there system working properlynlastly not specific but you should compare the price with other store like walmart....
How come you don't care about people In wheelchairs/walkers etc.. with all the displays in the way. You can't even get carts down some aisles most of the time
Would give zero stars to this pharmacy if it was an option. I called this location as I was recommended to call this location by the nurse hotline, the pharmacist named Angela is the most terrible pharmacist I’ve experienced. She will not even greet you on the phone nor say goodbye and is extremely rude and disrespectful and very unpleasant. I would avoid this shoppers as a whole. If they are hiring and keeping a pharmacist like Angela I don’t wanna know what other kind of people work there or what kind of trash management they are under.
