Shoppers Drug Mart

I'm an African-American male and walked into shoppers only to get juice and my girlfriend's (a Caucasian regular) prescription. I walked straight to the pharmacy and straight to the drink aisle then to the cash. As I got to the cash the lady there stared me down as I put my drinks down. She then asked extremely unprofessionally and with clear racism and prejudice (as my route was straight and goal oriented) if I had stolen anything. I said no and told her she was being very unprofessional and in response I got a very sarcastic "yeah Okay " then she ignored me and went on to the next customer. I feel wronged and feel as if something should be done.

The pharmacy staff are extremely rude and make you feel like you're bothering them. I was told that the prescription I wanted was not in stock and to go somewhere else. I asked how long to get it & she rolled her eyes and said over a week. I said I would wait. Went back the next day to pick up other prescriptions & the one that would take a week was there.

Unbelievably rude staff. We went on thanksgiving Monday, and are aware that the store has some aisles closed on holidays. We were looking at the vitamins as I am pregnant and needed to stock up on prenatal vitamins. A short woman with short red hair and glasses came up to us and asked us if we needed help, when we said "no, thank you" she rudely pretty much yelled that the section was closed, and that all taped off sections are closed. We didn't even go through any tape to be in that section in the first place so it was very confusing that we were being yelled at. We went up to pay, and as we were leaving the store, I saw her come up to the cashier and point at us through the window. What an ignorant person. Don't treat customers like that. If you can't have a good and positive attitude at work, don't bother coming in. There are other drug stores in town that I will be going to from now on.

Small Shoppers. Shoppers drug mart is the leader in Canada’s retail drugstore market place and is the number one provider of pharmacy products and services. This shoppers has a health and beauty counter, a pharmacy, an area to develop your photos, they sell lottery and half the store is almost to grocery store now.

If you look a certain way.. like have tattoos. Steer clear. Rude and unhelpful. Pharmacist too.. way over priced and slow
