Unfortunately I made the decision to stop in here to grab some stuff after work. I am a regular customer at this location which makes this whole interaction even worse! I took a shopping basket on my way in and spent a good 10 minutes or so looking at the shampoo isle as I wanted to make a change from my usual selection. While I was looking, the young girl who works at this location walked passed me several times and kept on watching me from the ends of the isle as if I was “suspicious” or doing something wrong. How could I possibly look at shampoo less suspiciously? eventually she walked to the cash register and hit some sort of automated security message for security to check the beauty section where I happened to be. This promoted Mr.nsuper undercover security guard to come over and watch me as well…. I completely understand that this place is getting customers who steal and cause problems I live in the SAME STREET and have to put up with the same individuals at my own house and at work! but cmon… I’m an EMS worker for the city and I was literally wearing my uniform, how suspicious. On top of this on my way out I was hassled and grabbed by “undercover” security and the same female employee on my way out. What a joke. I spent 150$ here after my shift just to be question and searched on my way out! I emptied my bag, gave the “security” my receipt and he tallied the items on the receipt 8 and the items in my bag which was also 8. Security couldn’t even count to 8 so I had to read off every single item and compare it to the receipt. How embarrassing and a total waste of my time.
This pharmacy must have changed ownership, absolutely terrible. Due to a retiring family Dr. I found myself unable to renew very important medications and I had a 2 week gap waiting for an appointment with my new Dr. The pharmacist refused to bridge the gap with prescription putting me in a very difficult health position. Ended up having to go to emergency where they thankfully were able to assist without question. Something this pharmacy could have easily done. Avoid at all costs. I have witnessed multiple other occasions of terrible customer service. I switched to a non shoppers pharmacy, better service, lower dispensing fee and just all around better.
The pharmacy and staff have gone down hillnThe last 3 times my Dr's office has faxed over a script. The pharmacy attempts to say my Dr never sent it. Which is crap I stood there while it was faxednToday my Dr faxed over a script for antibiotics. I have learned to now follow up and check. After sitting on hold for almost 30 mins another issue they inform me their faxed machine isn't receiving faxes. They told me to get his office to call it in. I could've done that had I not been on hold 30 minutes and now office is closed. Guy says well nothing I can do about it. I now have to delay until tomorrow to call the office and let them know they have to call it in. A week ago they pulled the same with a med change tried to tell me my Dr had not sent it. Which I knew was a lie I was standing there while they did it. I should not have to be calling within an hour to follow up and check if they are doing anything with the script faxed in. The pharmacy is horrible. Never used to be. As soon as I get my much needed antibiotics they will be losing a customer
Pharmacist used to be great, thats why I went back without checking the recent reviews.nnShopper’s website says that the pharmacist can assess and prescribe medications for dermatitis and other minor illnesses. But, when I go in she says that she cannot do exactly what the website says she can. Is she intentionally not treating patients because she is too lazy? Why else would you lie to your customer’s face like that?
The waiting times are ridiculous and inconsistent. The pricing is also very inconsistent. Many times they would charge me full price and I would have to keep reminding them that our insurance should be paying this. Also many times they do not have the drug in stock too. Gave them way too many chances and last time was the last straw, I waited over an hour for a prescription that they said will take 20 minutes to pull. Time to look for a new pharmacist.
