I have to agree with the recent reviews, the pharmacy staff is bordering on incompetent. As Stephanie noted below, there is literally an issue every time I try to pick up a prescription. There's almost always a lineup of frustrated people at the pickup counter because the staff has trouble with every single customer. The last couple times I went to pick up my meds I didn't successfully leave with them because there was a long line of frustrated-looking people at the counter and I knew it was going to be a rough 5 or 10 minute wait just to get to the front of the line. Then when it is your turn there's almost always a problem that the person at the front has to go back and talk to someone about; they either can't find your prescription or can't figure out how to check you out. It wasn't like this before; not sure what has changed, but it seems to me like it's the front desk / cash staff that are incompetent, not the pharmacist themselves.
I entered store around 16.55 28 November 2024. I had an unpleasant experience at this store recently. One of the employees, a dark-skinned woman, was following me around the store in a very uncomfortable way. I wasn’t looking to make a purchase because I wasn’t familiar with the store's offerings, but I was just trying to browse. I felt like I was being unfairly singled out and treated with suspicion for no reason. This behavior was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I won’t be coming back to this store again due to the way I was treated. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve customer service in the future.
My 5 star rating is intended for the great staff in the Beauty Boutique specifically. These ladies are very knowledgeable about their products and in particular- fragrances. They know their customers by name and go out of their way to help. Thank you!
I had made a call prior to visit the store , I was calling from out of town to check to see if they had a clearance Mr Burberry indigo Eau de Toilette in stock , Anna confirmed the stocks , 2 units were placed on hold for me . Online price shows $21.99 as of now as well. Took me 1.5 hrs to reach the store. I went and met Anna, asked her to check me out. She said the stor price is $112 not $21.99 , so it can be honored . Manager Michaela McKenna was called to help out. She verified and try matching the upc code and goes it's the same product as advertised online , upc code is not matching for store inventory, hence let me go check out if we got the same upc code item in the back. 10 minutes later a worker comes and tell me that they don't have stock , hence either I pay full price to buy the clearance price or else they are not willing to help . My driving 65kms one way and confirming the stock meant nothing to them . Manager didn't even bother to come out, or offer me something in lieu . I felt very agitated and cheated by this shopper store. Hope something is done about it.
I only picked one star because you need to choose a star rating in order to leave a review. This pharmacy deserves no stars. I have no idea how they are even in operation, because the disorganization and incompetence is unbelievable. There is an issue literally every single time you have to refill prescriptions. You get hung up on, there’s always an issue with refills because the system doesn’t seem to work properly, your medication is never ready on time, even with plenty of notice, and the list goes on. There are people who need and rely on getting and taking their medication regularly, and because of all these issues, that could lead to serious problems for some. Figure it out, and take the health of people seriously. Save yourself the aggravation and don’t get your prescriptions here.
