Edit: Wow. The pharmacist caught a prescription mistake from an ER doctor that would not have mixed well with my current prescriptions. They called me within a couple of minutes after leaving the store with the medication. We’re able to change out the meds the next day. It’s appreciated, I would have been bad.nnTo the owner. I feel the pharmacy is under staffed and could use additional support. Your staff are getting the abused by customers. Cheers
Avoid this pharmacy.nnI arrived to see a pharmacist for a prescription for a UTI. As a walk in, I understood if they were busy, they might turn me away, so I was prepared for this. However, when I arrived, I asked the “assistant” if a pharmacist was available to prescribe me UTI medication. He advised that “she” being the pharmacist would let me know.nnAfter 20 mins of waiting, I made eye contact with this “assistant” and that is when he had this A-HA moment that someone was still waiting and he forgot to tell the pharmacist.nnShe comes to speak to me and says “we are slammed”. I’m literally crouched over in pain and begged to wait and she said maybe in 30 mins but failed to take my health card or any type of check in, so I waited and tried to forget about my terrible discomfort. This should have been told to me upon my arrival - do not make the customer wait to speak to you in order for you to now say you are busy.nnI ended up phoning another Shoppers at Burnhamthorpe during my wait and WOW! She was empathetic and took my assessment and health card over the phone. Told me to come on over to pick it up. Rathburn employees should take note of this customer service from the other Shopper’s.
This shoppers is located in a fairly nice neighborhood and next to Longos. I pick up my perscriptions here and havent had any issues. Good service!
The client service , professionalism and overall quality has completely declined with the change in ownership/management in November. As a client for over 20 years it is greatly disappointing and frustrating. There is always a line up, delay in getting service and today I waited on hold for 15 min before they hung up and I needed to call back, only to wait another 8 min. The staff used to know me, provide excellent personal and friendly service, now they can barely understand my needs. Hope they bring back some of the previous very qualified staff.
The store is always clean & stocked. Staff are very friendly.
