My wife and son enjoyed this place, but I did not. I have to eat gluten free. Thankfully they know what that means, so they prepared my food in the kitchen so there was no cross contamination. They also brought my food out right when the chef came out to prepare everyone else's food. So either I eat my food in front of my family and then sit and watch them eat, or politely wait for their food to be ready and eat with my family. My food was cold by the time I started eating it. They had nice warm steaming meat and veggies. I had cold chicken that had started going dry at the edges and. My beef was delicious and tender, but cold. They had light, fluffy dried rice in huge portions. I had semi transparent rice that started to taste dry. This place can be fun if you don't have any diet restrictions. If you have to eat gluten free, go somewhere else.

Was told 30-45 minute wait. When I asked after 55 minutes I was told people made reservations over the phone while waiting and it will be another 30 minutes. Ended up spending over an hour and a half just waiting. Came all this way for it so there was no turning back unfortunately. Then when seated was kept being told for my company and I to keep moving down to the point where we were at the bridge of the 2 tables and didn't really experience the Habachi cooking. Really disappointed

* editing to say i will no longer be going here after tonight, she expected me to pay near 50$ for a carry out order that literally had two soups and a combo dinner of chicken each. It cost me 27$ elsewhere. Will never be going back here again* Loved the shrimp kow and beef with vegetables. Food was amazing except the sushi lacks flavor. I've actually had a lot better from Kroger... I wasn't exactly happy with service, personal space invasion alert as the waitress stood literally too close and when I'd back up she would move closer. Paid a lot to eat here and got funny looks from staff as we ordered the dinner for 4 but there were two adults and my six year old. Um I did have two others to feed at home thanks...

So our bill came out to $257.00 for 8 people. Besides being over priced, the place looked like a total dump. The walls had holes in it. The foot molding around the perimeter was torn off and dusty. Food didn’t nearly compare to quality of other Japanese restaurants. The service was totally subpar. When I asked to substitute the rice for noodles in my child’s meal the waitress seemed agitated with my request and told me it was going to be an upgrade. Fine— upgrade ok, but when I asked what that price would be, she ridiculed me by saying “do u know what upgrade means?”

Saturday March3 This place was awful. We put our name in for a table at 6:45 and was told 30 -40 minute wait. Finally asked to sit at sushi bar at 8:30. We had put in a sushi order around 8 . When we waited for 15 minutes and hadn’t been asked about drinks. I asked about the earlier placed sushi order , it wasn’t ready. At that point we got up and left . Found another sushi restaurant on schoneherr ,was seated and served within 10 minutes
