It's just a place to crash at night. Not really kept up that well. But there was a shower with hot water, a modern toilet that worked and coffee maker in the hallway. Upstairs there are three rooms that all share the bathroom. The sink is sort of in the hall and door to shower and door to toilet are both private. It worked. The bed I slept in is old. Needs replacement. Springs are pretty toast. That is my only complaint. It must be at least 15 years old estimated. Falls down on one side. Otherwise it's old and better than sleeping outside in the cold. Pic was from the river down the way.
This place looks the same as ever from my childhood I remember being in Troy Oregon for Easter’s and Family Reunions. If you like adventure with the old west feel, and you can handle the luxury of roughing it this is the best place. Bring cash, no cards accepted here.

Great little town! Everyone so friendly! Restaurant was cool, however not having their little bar open was sad, but still served good drinks and food!!!
CASH ONLY! One of my husband's and mines favorite spots. The drive from Anatone to Troy is beautiful. The service is friendly and quick. The food is SO good. Go to breakfast and try the chicken fried steak! You won't regret it!
Big chicken fried steak breakfast, great burgers and an excellent beer & beverage selection including Wallowa County's own Terminal Gravity. Accommodating host and reasonable room rates. Bring cash.Rooms: 5/5
The Inn: The staff was kind and courteous. The hamburger and fries are good at the restaurant. The beer is cold. The town: The scenery is beautiful. Lots of wildlife. The only downside was some euro-trash techno music coming from a rental cabin that could be heard all over town. I don’t understand why someone would try to turn a wilderness area into a Frankfurt disco;feel sorry for the locals.
Small town but tons of visitor's to Troy bar and grill. Fantastic burgers and cod sandwiches and the milk shakes are thick and tasty. I will always return when in the area.
About 20 of our family members have been coming to Troy for 30 years and staying for a week every July and have seen management change hands quite a few times but they have all treated us above and beyond. The food has always been great and the fishing awesome. And we look forward to it again every year.
Passed thru town, before the fire hit, and stopped in for a burger. I am not sure if it's because I had been traveling for over 8 hours with just water to drink but the burger was INCREDIBLE!!! Will be back here the next time I swing thru this area. Hopefully most of the town is still in tact.
