Shikorina Pastries

I just went to Shikorina Pastries for the first time and it's my new favorite place for sweet treats I can't wait to go back! I tried the chocolate chip cookie- it was incredible. I also had the strawberry poptart which was so delicious and original- flaky crust and perfectly sweet/tart filling. Also love that they are all about community!

Dropped in on a whim, SO GLAD i did!!! They were sold out of most things so close to closing, so i grabbed a strawberry “pop tart” pastry, and 2 vegan, gf cookies for my friend so glad they had these options!. The pop tart was INCREDIBLE. The texture was absolutely perfect- pastry is light, flaky, and shattery, perfectly crisp on the sides but perfectly soft around the filling. Delicious strawberry filling, not too too sweet, doesn’t overpower the buttery pastry. Seriously recommend!

This bakery made a cake for a work function. Their brown butter vanilla flavor was yummy and the cake was so moist. I'll be back to order or pick up treats for them.

We get cookies and cake slices from here regularly. Everything is consistently fantastic. One of our favorite places for a sweet treat.

I picked up a cheesecake and pop-tarts to share with friends over dinner and everything was delicious. I placed an order online, and the owner called me very quickly after ordering to let me know that the items I'd ordered online weren't in stock. The owner suggested some alternate flavors. The pastry is well crafted and there is great attention to detail. The classic vanilla cheesecake is beautifully flavored, especially in a classic dish with many comparisons. Honestly, these pop-tarts are so reminiscent of childhood, so full of some perfectly gooey jam, and a great balance of well done pastry, tasty filling, and a beautiful frosting to make me feel like a kid again. I'll definitely be back for more!

Great addition to the neighborhood! Lovely bakery, great pastries, friendly staff, minority and LGBTQ owned--what's not to love? Try the pop tarts; just trust me on that. Spouse also loves the chocolate chip sea salt cookies. Photo of pop tart added.

Customer service is great. The owner was serving us and she's as so nice! She told us how the shop opened in June during the pandemic. There isn't seating inside but just across the street is a cute open public seating area. We got the chocolate chunk salted cookie, the vegan triple chocolate cupcake, mocha, and chia with oat milk. I recommend all of it! The vegans triple chocolate cupcake was perfect, moist and light.

Brownies are serious business here! Towering in height and loaded with chocolate chunks. My pro move is to get the deal on six assorted cookies: 2 each of salted chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and oatmeal with white chocolate. They all freeze well, too, so don’t fret about stocking up. Also a very fine iced coffee, which pairs great with brownies and/or cookies. Look forward to trying some cakes next.

That's a strawberry poptart back there! Creative and delicious. We also ordered a dozen confetti vanilla and chocolate with cream cheese frosting cupcakes, are those before photographing. Will be back!!

Not only are the pastries phenomenal, but my visit to their store front was magikal as well! The moment I walked in I could smell the warm sweet baked goods and felt at home.
