Location is great, the space is spacious and I can imagine this would be a nice work-from-coffeeshop spot for people and nearby students during normal time. Service is ok, coffee is quite mediocre. Had a couple of visits and the overall experiences just weren't exciting at all.
Easy 5/5. Great coffee, great staff and the decor and location is top notch. It’s also quiet enough to get work done and plenty of space to sit
Good coffee but nothing amazing… you can definitely find better shops around the neighborhood. The inside is very spacious which was nice.
Eccentric is the word that comes to mind when describing this place. I think what threw me off was the mediocre-at-best service by the people working behind the counter. I really didn't think they were deserving of a tip, but the fact that they prompt you to click on the screen shortly after ordering makes you feel cornered into giving them something. Also, their tables are quite lopsided so it makes working a bit inefficient. Unfortunately I won't be coming back here. P.S. Bring "blackout" headphones if you want to get any work done. The music here is obnoxious!
Busy place on the weekend! Very nice though. Just went with a hot chocolate with Irish cream and I don't know what they used but it was a lot more delicious than expected. They have a second floor with more seating and a ton of chairs. But still crowded. Great atmosphere. Kind of high prices but that's what you expect these days. Very enjoyable spot.
Best coffee in my book. Being from Alaska, I am glad they have a Kaladis coffee shop in Seattle. Love my Kaladis.Food: 5/5
My resident cafe on the hill - I’ve been a regular at Kaladi’s since 2019 and absolutely love the space, the coffee, the bakery items and the fact that it’s dog friendly!Recommended dishesCroissant
The person at the register was unpleasant to speak with and had a negative attitude. It's essential to have a welcoming and friendly person at the register since they are the first point of contact for customers. It's understandable that everyone has bad days, but it's important to remain professional and courteous towards customers. Unfortunately, the person I encountered seemed to dread their job when speaking to customers. Additionally, the person making the drinks took an excessive amount of time to prepare them, causing a 20-minute wait time. Waiting for a long time, especially when there are other customers ahead of you, is frustrating. The barista seemed to be having a personal conversation with two customers, which is unprofessional and takes away from the quality of the service. Finally, the sandwich that I ordered was inadequately prepared and presented. It's disappointing to receive a poorly prepared item after waiting for a long time. Overall, my experience was unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend eating at this coffee company and would not return.
Weak coffee and way overpriced. Customer service was bad too. Very judgmental when I asked to use my reusable cup. Come on, you’re in Seattle.. isn’t that your thing? When I asked if they had cold foam the barista aggressively said, “this isn’t Starbucks.” No shit… I’ve never even been to a Starbucks. I seriously didn’t know it was a starbucks thing, I’ve been ordering it at local shops for years. Plus, on their Instagram there is a photo of a drink with cold foam…I’ve worked as a waitress for 2+ years and this was literally the first time I have ever stiffed someone.
Good coffee, WiFi, tons of room - an awesome place to work. Love the upstairs that overlooks the first floor. A few food options that they heat up for you.
