Really nicely built common area with multi-purposes! The Sherbourne Common South houses a lot of tons of green area for picnics with the south side of the park offering a year-round activity as a splash pad or skating rink pending on the season. It also has a water treatment facility at the pavilion as well and releases it from the three art sculptures located on the north side of the park. Pretty iconic structures! The north side also houses a lot of the playground type facilities like see-saws but also houses the three art sculptures that release out the treated storm water and lake water. The sculptures entitled "Light Showers" are a sight to see at night as they light up at night and motion sensors trigger light patterns!
We stumbled upon this park during our hike along the Waterfront. The City of Toronto is always doing Reconstruction of the Waterfront. The Sherbourne Common is a combination of art and water-treatment facility.
This place expensive condominiums are being built and some of them are almost done. The prizes range from 2 million Canadian dollars and it seems some units were already occupied. The builder is Tridel corporation who looks like a reputable company. It is located in downtown Toronto along Queens Quay and Sherbourne.
Love to visit the Sherbourne common, great view of the lake, calming, at the moment water treatment construction is going on here. May 10, 2022
Enjoyed a great walk along the waterfront.
Nice park, close to the lake.
I had a great time speanding time with my family, mom, sister, niece, and nephew. There is a wonderful scenery with Lake Ontario in the view, with kids' waterpark, with kids' playground, and with and sitting spotsfor picmic and chilling out, etc. I higly recommend it for you to visit, and it would be nice if you could go with your families.
My favourite place downtown. So serene and beautiful!
Nice place to visit with family. Visited on a very cold windy day where the lake was frozen but looked beautiful
Beautiful space in the city on the water. A nice place to relax and take in the sounds of the lake and trees and enjoy nature in downtown Toronto.
