One of our favorite camping spots on Cape Cod. Awesome camp sites and a great location. Fall and the end of the season is the best time to visit. The campground empties out when the kids return to school. The fishing gets better towards the end of the season and those campfires get a littler cozier. Enjoy!

Nice clean quiet place to camp. Densely wooded sites with numerous bath/shower houses located throughout the park. Great campground for families. Only negative is that there is no swimming but beaches are close by.

Good location, quiet campground, pass for local beach, large shady private sites, free showers, limited activity program, kids playground, great for walking/hiking, bicycling, family activities. No electricity. Near local eateries, stores, etc. Good jumping off spot for the rest of the cape. Sort of the "overflow" campground for Nickerson State Park, but we love it for its own merits. Very reasonably priced.

We've been going to Shawme for over 10 years but we're still mourning the loss of that great boat which saw my kids growing up. Too bad they took it away. What a loss....
