Hands down the best shawarma! I travel all the way from Montreal just to eat at this location. Outstanding quality and generous portions, with great service. The place itself is also beautiful, with comfortable banquettes.
Simply the best Shawarma in all of Ontario. I have never seen this much food on a Shawarma plate. And it is simply delicious. JAAFAR was the absolute best. Great customer service.
The mixed shawarma sandwich was extremely oily—so much so that the oil completely soaked through the bag, making it messy and unpleasant to handle. On top of that, the music was blaring at full volume, making the restaurant feel more like a nightclub than a place to enjoy a meal. The service was okay, nothing special but not terrible either. Overall, while the service was passable, the overwhelming oiliness of the sandwich and the deafening music really ruined the experience.
I love Shawarma Palace ... my friends love Shawarma Palace ... and it's been the case for more than 20 years.nnWe used to frequent their original location on Rideau Street, then this branch became our favorite ... but wherever you go, Shawarma Palace offers the same fresh food, the same flavors and the same excellent service.nnOne thing they've mastered is the generous portion sizes ... no one else comes close ... one plate is enough for two people.
The shawarma tastes amazing. Everything is super fresh. The place looks very clean. Service is really fast. Many say it's the best shawarma in Ottawa. Great for a quick bite. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy to find and park nearby. Perfect for lunch or dinner. Worth a try.
