Sharpfle Waffle

Checked this cute little spot today, they share the space with a realtor office which I accidentally went in instead! It’s a small spot that can fit up to 8-10 ppl. I got a latte which was nice and smooth. They only have 2 savoury options, one of which has ham. So I asked for it without ham, and the gentleman was courteous to substitute with Turkey although it’s not on the menu. It was crispy flavourful and good. The lotus cream is delicious but very sweet I coupes barley finish one half. Service was extra nice and kind.. it’s a cute spot worth a try if you are in the area!

Stumbled across this small waffle shop on Wellington st while looking for a quick lunch. They had very delicious croffles croissant waffles. I tried 3 different waffles, ham, cheese and avocado, lotus cream and cinnamon sugar. They were all out of this world. I'll definitely be back soon to try out the other flavors!

Not too sweet, flavours are nicely balanced. Waffles are light and crispy. Awesome coffee & staff Between my friends and I, we tried the lotus, strawberry shortcake, nutenana and cinnamon sugar waffles. The toppings are a lot of fun, I’d recommend going for those. Both the turkey and ham sandwiches are great too. The flat white was also great. Sharpfle waffle roasts their own coffee beans and is very knowledgeable about different bean types. Joe was nice enough to let me try a flat white with one of their other roasts, and the flavour difference was phenomenal.

The best cafe in Ottawa. Staff were attentive and really friendly, especially the owner! Their waffle croffle is incredibly delicious and the drinks are amazing as well. I’d recommend their Yuzu Lemonade it’s super refreshing. Really hope that Sharpfle Waffle will reopen elsewhere in the future!

Went here twice in the span of a week! Absolutely in love w/ the aesthetic and the coffee/food. The even gave me a little birthday gift on my way out which is so sweet : Definitely one of the cutest coffee shops in Ottawa

Super matcha latte and in store special ice latte, would recommend. Favourite waffle that I tried was the egg salad savoury waffle and then the strawberry waffle. The space is small, only seats a few. Service is very nice!

The man at the counter welcomed us with a big smile. He was very kind and helpful. The design of the restaurant is very cute and is generally neutral with pops of colour. The space is small but they have made enough space to seat maybe 10- 20 people at a time. They have all the traditional coffee options and offer oat gf, almond and regular milk. They also have many iced tea options that look very good and I believe will be worth the try. Their waffles look so beautiful and have unique flavour. Unfortunately, they do not have any gluten free waffles so I was not able to try them but my brother did and he rated his waffle a 7/10. The only gluten free option they had for me was the chocolate tea cake which was topped with seeds and nuts. We ended up ordering a iced latte with oat milk, a cappuccino, two puff pastries, a gf tea cake and an egg sandwich waffle. Everything was presented nicely and tasted great. The only issue we had was the lack of gluten free options. I hope they will eventually bring some more options to the table and I will gladly give them a try. Overall great experience and I definitely recommend this place. Thank you Sharpfle Waffle!

This is a MUST-VISIT cafe in Ottawa! I got a turkey cheese avocado waffle, and it was so good! There were so many slices of avocados, and the croffle part was crunchy and delicious My friend got the cinnamon and sugar waffle, and we both agreed it was great! The staff were so friendly and nice, and the cafe was sooooo cute and adorable. Definitely gong to go there again to try out out all the flavours of croffles! One thing, the cafe was a bit small, but hopefully, in the future, they can open their store someplace bigger, !

I saw the wonderful reviews on this eatery when I was looking for places to to try during my visit to Ottawa. Honestly, the food and drinks were lovely! I loved that the croffle was warm and soft, and not too sweet. My favourite part of the dessert was the cream though. It was perfect! Despite how wonderful the food and drinks were, I did not have a such a pleasant experience with service. It took took a little while after the previous person was served for someone to take my order. The guy at the cash just stood there and didn't bother to ask me for order. He later signalled for another person behind the cash to serve me which felt unusual. It didn't bother me much until the another customer came in and was served immediately by the original guy at the register. Although I enjoyed the treats, this experience has deterred me from visiting again or recommending to friends and family.

I would give six stars if I could! Incredible little cafe tucked away offering various sweet and savory waffles. I've gone back twice now and loved everything I tried; my favourite item is probably the cream puffs which are actually made out of their croffle batter as well. Absolutely delicious! The staff are also so sweet and accommodating.
