Must say that I was taken aback by how delicious their coffee was. They have an Arabic or a middle eastern influence to their coffees which is just great! They sell quite a lots of bakery goods such as tarts, pies and some very middle eastern snacks. Do try their ice cream, it was quite popular!
First visit to the newest location Wellington and Parkdale and it certainly won’t be the last. As many businesses have, LeSuq has had to pivot and it seems to be working for them. I picked up some core staples, hummus, baba ganoush, and toum! All very good. There are many more offerings and I certainly have to try their baklava, the baked goods and most definitely a frappé! Welcome to Hintonburg!
Best customer service experience I have ever had at a cafe. My friend and I enter to just check out the menu. Guy working there was super nice and offered us free samples of Arabic coffee. I'm not a big coffee fan but I must say it was super good!! Since my friend doesn't like coffee and she couldn't get much on the menu since she is gluten free she didn't end up getting anything. Unexpectedly the guy working offered us samples of soup so she did not not feel left out. The soup tasted phenomenal. I ended up buying a spinach feta meat pie and a scone. So yummy!! This experience honestly made my day.
July 23, 2021: After doing a Westboro beach cleanup, I walked to Hintonburg and ate at Le Suq. I got hummus and pita, plus some meat pies. Then gelato. They have wifi and outlets. I could work there all day!
Best Lebanese cafe in Ottawa. The customer service is great. Very friendly and with lots of advise on what to pair with their spreads. Thanks for introducing me to lebna, I love it!! I hope you open again soon. I ran out of my favorite humus in the city.
Fantastic coffee and a great assortment of Lebanese and Syrian food! This location has outdoor seating and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. It was my first time here and I was greeted so warmly and given a little tour of what they had. I'll definitely be back!
Great service! Seriously. Came in the other day for a little snack and was greeted by a lovely, passionate man who gave us a little tour of their offerings. Had we drove we would have grabbed everything in the salad and dip fridge. I'll have to update this review when I do. But the meat and zatar pie was fantastic! Looks like a lovely place to have a coffee and bang out a couple emails in a different setting. Can't wait to go back!
Very much impressed by my first visit here! Lovely services and fabulous food. The meat pie is a must try. Friend and I enjoyed the time spent here too much to take out our phones for a photo!! Thank you for such a beautiful space with character. Will definitely come back soon!
Unauthentic over priced food. Would give 0 out of 5 if I could. Utter garbage and trash. Food is bland and has no good flavor. Zataar is bad quality. The cut vegetables were old. Their humus is not made in store. Don’t waist your time at this place. There are much better Lebanese food options in Ottawa.
Today I went to LeSuq newest location on Wellington - Picked up some Happy Goat Coffee there and I must say its great tasting!! I also picked up my favourite Zatar and cheese pies!! I love this place!! The service and staff are amazing!! This will be my new go to place!!
