Shari's Cafe & Pies

I have eaten at many Shari's Cafes while traveling the NW. The Lewiston Sari's is average compared to others. Depending on the cook on shift, food can be good or not so good. Wait staff is usually friendly and most times attentive. The interior appearance could use a little cleaning. The Lewiston Shari's usually smells of cigarette smoke when you first walk in. I am not a smoker, so I may notice it more than others. I have eaten there several times, so it would be an option if it were late night or I just wanted some pie and coffee. Their coffee is always good.

Eat here all the time. Love the chicken fried steak. I love when I get Debbie as my server. She is very attentive, super friendly, and FUNNY!

Terrible place! Carpet filthy. After waiting 15 to 20 minutes for biscuits & gravy and three over easy eggs in a nearly empty restaurant, the waitress said the delay was because the cook had to make fresh gravy. Fresh gravy would be steaming hot, but mine was barely warm. Biscuits were nothing special. I will not go back.

My first visit ever and I won't be back. The food was really good. The service was horrible my waitress made me feel uncomfortable she was so rude. I took my (very well behaved) 3 year old daughter to breakfast. Beside the fact that she was so rude I tried to order an espresso she said yeah and walked away then returned with my bill. We had just received our food which wasn't even warm.

My favorite place for a late night snack and cup of Joe. The staff is Always friendly and cheerful. PERFECT end to a night of karaoke !
