Shanley Hotel

My daughter and I stayed there over the weekend. It was a very creepy cool place. There was a little paranormal actuvity if it was real I’m not sure. There was a medium to take you around then you could investigate on your own. There was no staff to take care of anything. After check in the owner disappeared. In the morning there was suppose to be coffee and bagels .There was absolutely nothing and nobody around. Wouldn’t go back but it was an unusual experience

HOTEL IS CLOSED! I just want everyone to be aware that the hotel closed on Friday November 17, 2017 after the building was condemned due to structural issues. The manager of the building failed to notify customers directly and this was only communicated through their Facebook fan page. As of right now, their website is still up and accepting reservations. MANY customers have not received refunds including myself. I drove 3.5 hours from Connecticut to find a dark hotel and the manager moving out furniture.

Very disappointing! My daughters and niece received a gift certificate to go here and no one answered the phone any time they called to make a reservation. When the phone was answered it was by the previous owner who consequently passed away. Money was received for this but he left no record of their reservation. Current owners will not honor the deal that was originally made and paid for . I would say more but I believe in karma! Hopefully enough people have had similar experiences and speak up about it! Check with he better business bureau before booking here!!

Terrible, rundown & very disappointing. No paranormal experience, no food, no one was there but us in the hotel except for the owner & her son, no paranormal investigators like promised. We basically paid $162 for an old rundown b&b room. Place reeked of cigarettes.....but the coffee was good lol. Would never return or recommend this place to anyone...EVER

Staff is absolutely horrendous. They lost my reservations and did not do anything to refund me and my party any of our $300.
