THE BEST IN THE GTA! This place is a true hidden gem and I am so sad for anyone who has not yet been blessed by the flavors presented in this restaurant. The freshness and the portions are so good! Been going here for years and it's hands down the best Caribbean food I've ever had and I've gone to some of the most well known ones in the GTA, PLUS it's very affordable AND large portions. In addition, the owner is so amazingly friendly, he brings a smile to my face. 3 years ago in the cold, he gave me a complimentary hot cocoa and I'll never forget that! I wish more people knew about this place as it's hidden gem within all the warehouses. I hope their business gets more recognition. I rarely get emotional but this business deserves so much! Don't stop being awesome!

I used to work around the area and i have found this amazing place! Been missing their amazing food thats why i decided to grab some large jerk chicken togo! Here it is i plated it at home and everything is perfect! Would you look at that! It’s definitely a hidden gemunderstatement hopefuly more people could try their amazing jerk chicken! Ps: would also recommend their oxtail its super firee bro

Hidden gem is an understatement. Came here for lunch today and got the medium jerk chicken with rice and peas for 12 dollars. Came with steamed veggies and festival. Hands down one of the best jamaican places. Only regret was not getting the large for $15. Amazing food bless up.

The owner is impressive, but unfortunately, the jerk chicken falls short of expectations. Additionally, the rice and peas lack moisture, and the oxtail gravy's sweetness level is not to my liking. Similarly, the patties are only decent at best.

The service was exceptional and the food equally exceptional. I got the pleasure of sampling the range of meats and I must say they all were great. BUT the ABSOLUTE BEST THING OF ALL ARE THE PRICES. Their steam vegetables is unique... As not many Jamaican restaurants carry as such. I will definitely visit Hopeton again.

Super amazing food by super amazing people! It's really difficult to find good local food around this area, and thanks to Mr. Hopeton, we can all enjoy some real good good cook up! Take some time, don't rush, and talk a little. You'll be how surprised at how much you'll surprise yourself, after eating from here! I'm going to lunch today

UNCLE HOPETON HAS GIVEN ME HOPE AGAIN, after being to a lot of a lot of Caribbean/Jamaican restaurants and trying out different foods, THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST PLACE IN GTA. Went there for the first time, drove 30MINUTES!! And was not disappointed. Got the oxtail large dinner, portion was great compared to other places. Tastes AMAZING and will definitely go again even if it does take me 30 minutes!!!!

One of the most authentic and flavourful jerk chicken ever, juicy and tender!

The atmosphere is subpar, but the food is stupendous! This is consistently the most delicate preparation of jerked, fried, and bbq chicken I have ever experienced. Delicious and delectable describes the flavour and taste of everything this gentleman prepares. The rice 'n' peas, the banana fritter, the veggies, everything is on point.Food: 5/5
