The best in St. John's to have chicken biryani. I have visited over 10 times to have chicken biryani at this place. Keep up the taste!
One thing you need to keep in mind that they are not well known for their interior or anything. It's a very simple place; the interior is not impressive at all. But if we are talking about their food? That's first class. Starting from the appetizers to deserts, almost everything will satisfy your craving for deshi food.
The food was very bad. We threw it out and was $50. Very disappointing

I really enjoyed it. I and one other person had the butter chicken with a side of naan bread. A few others had the Shalimar plate and they all really enjoyed that too. The staff was very friendly. They also have a little grocery section. I would recommend.
Poor service to say the least. Had to wait a long while to see no one in the store. We had to leave when we understood that there wasn't anything coming our way any time soon. We had to have our lunch from somewhere!
we tried chicken biryani there.was very tasty.had a homely touch to it.a ladyI assume was an ownerwas very gentle.she even made an effort to approach us to know how did we find food.ambience was average,hence overall price of food seemed bit overpriced!!
Absolutely fantastic food! Friendly and attentive staff. It’s a restaurant/store so the ambiance isn’t fancy, but definitely stop by.
The curry was very soupy/watery and the palak paneer seemed to be made from frozen spinach. The naan was not fresh or made on location, was the same you’d get from Loblaws. This is very expensive for the quality.
