I had an excellent experience at this Service Canada location. Arti assisted me with updating my SIN number, and the entire process was handled professionally and efficiently. She was knowledgeable, courteous, and took the time to ensure everything was completed accurately.
The reception lady and the lady who helped us at Counter 2 were polite and helpful. However, another staff member called a name similar to mine, and when I asked if it was for me, she responded in an unnecessarily rude manner. Public service staff should be respectful, especially when dealing with people seeking help.
If I could give zero stars, I would.nnMy father has lived and worked in Canada for over 30 years. He is retired, he paid into CPP his whole life, and he does not speak English. He also suffered a serious head injury years ago, which makes understanding things even harder for him. Instead of helping him, two staff members at this Service Canada location were extremely rude and dismissive.nnThey refused to offer any interpreter services, didn’t show any patience, and treated him like an inconvenience. They talked down to us, brought over another rude employee, and made no real effort to understand our situation.nAll we wanted to know is why my father is not receiving his CPP after working in this country for decades.nnThis office needs serious training in basic respect, customer service, and how to deal with seniors and vulnerable people. No Canadian should be treated like this — especially someone who built their life here and paid into the system for so long.nnShameful behaviournnWhat makes this experience even worse is that no supervisor or manager stepped in, even though the situation was clearly escalating. When staff are speaking loudly and treating seniors rudely, management should be present immediately — but nobody showed up, nobody watched, and nobody cared.
I visited to Service canada on February 12 at approximately 3:37 PM, where I attended to request a change to my SIN information.there was a long queue. However, I observed that three staff members were standing together and talking among themselves instead of assisting clients in a timely manner.During this time, one person in the line asked a question, and the front desk staff member responded in a rude and impatient tone, along with an angry facial expression, and told the person to wait in an unprofessional manner.
I had a pleasant experience on my recent visit at this location. The young lady at the desk, ARTI, was very nice, helpful and professional.nShe listened to my problem with patience and did every thing to help me out. Thank you ARTI.
