Showed up twice now, to this location, just to renew my passport...nnThe initial wait time to get to the front desk was about 5 - 10 minutes..which is more than reasonable..nnMy issue is both times I got to the desk I was faced with a really rude lady that had no interest in being there..nnI get it..it's not always fun to work a government job..but a smile and some kindness would go a long way..nnAnd that's not the worst part of all this!!nnI was told both times that I would need to wait in line for 1 - 2 hours??? Even though I had all the paperwork filed out, the photos printed and my old passport in hand???!!!..I just left..nnThe system at this location awful!nnWhy not have a dedicated line for just Passport renewal processing?? This way people can just hand the application to a worker, and if everything looks good then they just quickly pay the processing fee..this would expedite the whole process and bring the wait times for renewals way down..nnNow I'm going to mail in my passport application, simply because I can't keep wasting my time!!nnThe whole system is exhausting and it really shouldn't be this difficult to get a mandatory travel document especially if you are already a Canadian Citizen

Went to the Newmarket Service Canada Centre for my SIN application, and it was smoother than expected. The staff were professional and efficient, though not overly friendly. I didn’t have an appointment but only waited about 20 minutes, which felt reasonable. The space is clean and accessible, with free parking—a bonus. Just make sure your documents are in order before you go; they’re strict about that. It’s not a place you want to visit often, but for what it is, it gets the job done without much hassle.

I was very impressed with my recent experience at Service Canada. I was greeted promptly, my documents were reviewed and I was directed to a waiting area. While waiting I noticed that the staff were consistently pleasant, informative and efficient. The line was managed quickly and staff took time to clearly explain and highlight things for patrons who in many cases, were a bit overwhelmed.nThe person who processed my paperwork put me at ease, explained next steps clearly, including providing a resource and tracking number.nI was in and out in about an hour even with there being 19 people ahead of me when I first arrived. I really appreciated the staff at this Service Canada location.

Excellent service , good way to start the process to renew passport. Bring your old passport , passport photos recommended Staples photos passport form ready fulfilled . We started the line at 12.58 and go out at 2.30 pm . Waiting room full of people . Thanks Jasmine for explained everything about photos and delivery time of the new passport. I recommended this place.

On a Monday morning I Queued up outside the gates at 8:15, entered sharp at 8:30 and was processed and Seated at 8:45 after my documents were checked.nnI was free at 9:30am! I was very impressed with the smooth experience and courteous staff. Jess was wonderful with my application processing.
