I was there today to apply for passport for my son. There was barely any lineup. I got there around 11am and was out of there by 12:15pm. Staff was very nice and helpful. They did say that it will take 9 weeks to get the passport. I hope they get it done sooner. But over all everyone was super nice, including the 3 the security guard, girl at the registration and the lovely woman that filed my application. Really appreciate their fast service.

We arrived before the opening at 0830 and the wait time was around 10-15mins when I accompanied my mother on July 21, 2022 to apply for her passport at this location and it went smoothly! This Service Canada office is able to accept applications for passports that are not urgent for travel. Their service is great and especially thank you to Evelyn for all her work and helping us. The passport will be sent by mail around October and they provided information who to contact if not received by then and any other information needed for follow up. Thankful that this office is here for us Ajax residents

Arrived at 7:45 a.m. to a short line. Services opened at 8:30 and I waited 30 minutes to be served. Customer service person was very pleasant to deal with and helpful. I know sometimes these things can take time but I truly believe they're doing the best they can. Just make sure you have all your documentation and you read the instructions carefully.

Went in last week to get my newborns passport application submitted. The line was not that long. But took me around an hour to get inside the building. Then another hour for my turn to submit the application. Overall my experience is quite good. The security staff is great and they keep letting you know how the situation is inside and how long it could take. But there is scope for improvement: i There should be separate counters dedicated for those who are seeking SIN numbers and separate counters dedicated for passport or other applications. As most in line were there for first time SIN numbers. ii There should be priority and dedicated lines & counters for Pregnant women, families with children and elderly. They shouldn't have to wait just like everyone else for extended periods outside. They can have separate seating available for such cases. iii Lastly, not all counters are operational or are not calling people on regular basis. There needs to be consistency in the work. Plus systems need to be improved as it can take min. 15 minutes and up to 45 min on a single person application. People should be able to get there recommended services with 5-10 min max. Anything more than this should be for very rare cases were a lot of investigation is required. Some might agree with me and some might disagree. This is just my observation and what I feel needs to be worked on/changed at Service Canada to better meet peoples expectation.

I went to this passport office to submit my renewal only to find out that I had to go to the Whitby office based on my timeline. The person who attended to me, Fazahat, didn't stop at telling me to go to another location....he took the time to go over my application to ensure that I filled it out correctly....he also checked that my photos were appropriate. It was a pleasure being served and I wanted to show my appreciation.

Very poor costumer service. The security guard treat people as trash. They are often closed before their closing time. Usual excuse is they reached the capacity if you look inside it’s empty. They have many windows to serve costumers but it’s joke only two working and around 3.30 PM their system starts working slow and they tell people to come other day to wait again in line. No proper signs for serving capacity. Arrogant security staff member. And got treated like , you have made mistake to come this location and now they are punishing you.

I just went to apply for my daughters passports. Avril I apologize if I got this gentleman’s name wrong provided excellent service. He went through the application thoroughly before processing it, even though it made him late to leave. Thank you for your assistance.

Great service, the staff is very kind especially the man who serviced me! Not busy at all, I came at around 3:20 and was finished by closing! Excellent environment, will continue to come here when needed from now on.

I arrived at 9 am and it took just over an hour to get in. Compared to Toronto , this was a breeze. There the wait was 6 hours or more. It's a waiting line outside so be prepared for the weather. No chairs to wait in but you could bring your own folding chair. The later you come the longer you'll wait.

Got here at 745 am with 5 or so people infront of me. Very friendly staff, smooth process given you bring in all your documents. Do not come here if you need your passport In 2 weeks you will need to go to a passport office. This location is 9 week mail out maximum.
